      @@KazzArie agreed. A takedown is a takedown, regardless of its percieved discipline. I learned a basic arm drag for my first no gi takedown. I didnt correct my coach and tell him that it was a high school wrestling move. Why? I'm not a heathen!

    Be sure to sit up as he walks the knee down, build height up to your hand, not your elbow, and re-face your opponent.

      I believe your referring to the elbow.. if you can’t use your hips to isolate the arm then you may need to use your knee instead.
