Not all were criminals some were hard working people who overlooked administration processes who were windward people invited to work in the UK. The new immigration crisis in Britain traded off some people on preference to Eastern Europeans arriving in UK.

Does the conditions which they are living under makes them depressed if that's the case they don't have a mental illness it is poverty. But if they are homeless they can have mental illness due to family or social issues that has led to the homelessness.

Put these people on a farm so they can grow their own food and give them shelter.

Most deportees from the USA and England become homeless on the streets of Jamaica some even end up murdered in Jamaica's dangerous streets.

This is another way coronavirus spread through homeless people on the street who have no way to wash and keep clean etc.

The government must start some program that is very effective in assisting the homeless people in Jamaica Streets.

the mental illness is a huge issue in the islands as well as in the usa and south Americas, drug and other addictions, and mental illness disabilities , and what you say is part way true, that yes there are family members try to get that person to get help and r to live with them or such, but the unfortunate reality is so many more, are actually dumped into te streets as they are unwanted , shunned, by family as they are seen as embarrassment and a shame of having the family member with problems,

Wow, homelessness is everywhere in the world, I am from Jamaica living in Canada, I work with the homeless population in Toronto as a shelter supervisor and I've seen it all ,mental health plays a huge part in the lives of the population. I definitely would like to be a part of this organization to contribute to my Jamaican brothers and sisters. For all the volunteers continue to do the good work. Bless

Unpopular opinion but immma state it anyway...Homelessness was never a big thing in Jamaica, since most families have land in their name, "tenament yaad" usually happens where families build extension houses and care for each other, farm together and provide for each other...obvious thats not jamaica we now know, politics mash up the country to a state where it almost seems irreversible.

The person addressing the homeless people seem like he doesn’t understand who God is. I cannot believe he speaks of the people on the street as he does. I’m shocked.

My heart goes out to these people . I wish our clothing ministry in America could send clothes we get so much and I wish I could run a bathe house where the people can come hold a fresh brush them teeth and get hair done if needed. God I would love to do that so bad. Atleast a bath may stop infections and a change of clothes and socks .. I hate being here in America we take for granted what we have everyday I want to be there and help. Help build homes and feed them. Just be a friend to them. A hug to them to make them smile and to know they are loved . I pray God gives me a path to Jamaica so I can help.

The only homeless people that I remember seeing on the Streets in the Town(Lucea, Hanover) I grew up in were the one or two individuals of unsund mind. As far as I know, didn't see mentally well people on the Streets, because there was a house for the poor where they were taken cared of. The first time I saw individuals of sound mind on the Street, was when I was about 20 years old, and was attending West Indies College in Mandeville Manchester....it was a bit surprising to see that. Man's system to put it bluntly, is evil considering that there's more than enough resources on the Earth to keep everybody out of poverty. Also, people don't plan their lives, or plan for their children, to have something to pass on to them to give their children a head start in life. People expect someone else to provide a job for their children when they finish school. That's not the way it's supposed to be. You bring a child into the world, you should at least start putting something aside for that child.
