I weant to 3 store champs in portland, one I did really bad at and 2 I did pretty well at. first one was padawans 1st place, cad/snoke 2nd place, and top 4 was boba/seventh and thrawn/snoke I believe. Next one was one that I topped with 4-wide vehicles(anakin/hiredgun/rookie/guard) as well as a cad/snoke. Kylo snoke won in the end over thrawn snoke. The last one was the coolest one. top 4 was kylo/pryce and wedge/rose/hired gun. I got second with the same team. The winner was DJ/Talzin/Ciena (one die each). he was undefeted all day except for game 2 of the finals against me.

How do you come up with the names of the podcasts?

This was so great! Have listened a couple times already. I'm new to Destiny and it's also the first deck building game I've played so it's really useful for me to hear people talking about the basics. Experts often neglect this stuff because they always assume they're speaking to people who are already really knowledgable. Of course that has its place, but it's really nice to have content like this that allows us newbies to feel like a part of what's going on, and so we can believe we have a chance of catching up too :) . Same with Kylo There is no better blue villain than kylo so he has to get nerfed as well not just aayla There are many useless character who cares I want to play asaj ventres but gues what she sucks (asaj: 15 points 9 health)(Luke: 15 points 12 Life) There will never be a perfect balanced game

thanks for sharing the great content today... lots of decks to have to consider while building a 30card deck now... re: potential cards to play against OTK in addition to Coercion u can play Lure, it can help forcing 7th to activate before getting their upgrade on and/or activating Ciena to block leadership play... goal being to mess with their play order. using "vandalize" to discard their upgrades helps. OTK also uses "cheat" to grab those leadership, rise again, and others from discard so using cheat in your deck can help as well for grabbing Lure and vandalize again.... moving OTK's upgrades around with battlefield Cargo Hold is an option... and if they're playing anaxes u can use new orders to adjust for that. just some thoughts. also was trying to figure out a combo using friends in low places to see if they have price of failure in hand (usually likely around 2nd or 3rd rd) and using infamous to ambush and then run coercion forcing them to have to either pass or run it...

My experience with Hero Yellow Mill is you need to run Lone Operative, Second Chance and Rebel (for recursion). I run eJyn-Maz with these as Mill and it is pretty effective.

I've supported, shared and religiously listened to this show from day 1. But in the past month to month and a half it has become unlistenable. I CAN NOT and will not listen to another weeks episode where Jay goes on a 20+ minute solo conversation. The shows of late have become the same old boring format of what did Jay do this week. Oh now what did Rick do. And then Sugi pumps in your thoughts and ideas throughout. It's predictable and stagnant. Thank you for the entertainment you have provided me thus far and I wish The Knights of Ren podcast all the best.

why is the guy running the show sound like the npr guy lol

To me 305- (Let the hate flow through you)is by far the worst podcast you have put out to date. It's really frustrating because there are so few people honestly evaluating the situation, and this podcast is another failed attempt. 2/3 members spend all their time making excuses, challenging new players to "get good", or just lying and saying it's not a problem. Everyone who says based on the KOR SC tracker thread on the FFG forums (which is a fun tool to see what's going on outside your local meta but a HORRIBLE tool to do any kind of actual meta analysis) that Poe/Maz as lost potency in the SC meta is either lying or not actually paying attention. In the most recent round of posts Poe Maz won the most events, had the most decks in the cut, and had twice the wins of the next best performer. It hasn't gone anywhere, and without errata it will still be the best performing deck. The podcast starts with Jay's excuses for "why" the meta is toxic to the games health (never actually suggesting maybe the legal card pool is not balanced enough to the mechanics). He will admit that things are wrong, but down plays how badly. Rick on the other hand just denies there is a problem. I think what best characterizes my feeling about how poorly the cast actually approaches the community discussion about the meta, the general direction of the game, and the health of the game is Rick's final thoughts. The game is so unhealthy that he suggests if you plan to play in a tournament (which is the overwhelmingly the only available avenue for most players given the small size of the player base relative to other games) you have to build a deck that can beat Poe Maz, Vader Raider, and ePalp consistently (which by the way would be the new most OP deck). If you do that you can expect to have fun and win, otherwise you can expect to not have fun and/or lose. That sounds like a really terrible game to invest in. Personally I love the game, I thinks it's fun, but it's currently in a bad spot for the health of the game. There is way to many elements working against it internally right now. Thanks to Sugi, his final thoughts were what I expected from this podcast on this subject. He was pragmatic but didn't shy away from actually addressing the problems as real problems, but it comes after an hour of the opposite.
