That was a fantastic piece!!! Russ is amazing!
Looks super cool!
Beautiful ~~
Patty, I'm THRILLED to see you back at The Rogue....So sure it will be FANTASTIC to see you again in drama/action at its core! 😂
Who's the set designer though?
One of the most wonderful human beings I've had the chance to meet. I just wish I could see her performing again!
who is this amazing lady? I can't get enough of this.
I really wish a recording of the whole show would be released later.
I found this video so helpful while working as the propmaster of my college's MSND production! Thanks so much!
I just happened across this - what a beautifully balanced tribute. Magnificently done!
Joe, you've been an inspiration to me since 1978.... I hope to get back to Tucson again soon and catch up.
This was wonderful. I listened to it while driving through the Mojave desert at night. What a treat. Thank you for posting it.
I thought it was set in Wales?
Under Milkwood is one of my very favorites. Cain’t wait
The images where the moon appears to be in a sky with color, is that upstage of a cyc? I would think the black moon box with scrim would only disappear in a black void. How is that effect achieved?
It was great to see you at Left Hand - saw it twice. Thank you again for being such a good teacher, it made a huge difference for me. (And for letting me be lazy at movie charades - the prompt was WALL-E and I just pointed at you.) Best, Syd.
Fancy that! I was just reading the book!
Fabulous! You're lucky to have John!
The creative Rogue!!
Merci
Absolutely delightful interview. I've always liked you, Matt, onstage and off. You're acting is one of the main attractions for me at the Rogue; can't wait to see what you'll do next.
She is way too fun to be a B.A. at 65 and she knew my hero Dan Gilmore and when Susan is in the dark hallway listening to Every performance she is a Theatre Light in herself for all of us.

So excited to see this with my 11 and 9 year old who have large portions of the play memorized! Our first Shakespeare play together!!!
Terrific! Can't wait to see all that stuff.
What is the name of the last song that is sung before the play starts? The guy comes home drunk each night of the week and sees things that aren’t his? Thank you!
The song is called ‘Seven Drunken Nights,’ and we’ll be posting a video of it with lyrics soon!
Incredible! What a great interviewer and interviewee! And they are both wonderful actors! I am so glad I have landed in Tucson and I am so happy to have found the Rogue the first year I arrived here!
Great to see Ryan back and no-kidding his Versatility is amazing.
What a lovely and constant reminder of the labor and love of good theatre.
What fun … thank you for all the joy of ‘Babette’s Feast Prep’
Go! It’s wonderful.
(13.57) The Waves is not Woolf's last novel. Between the Acts (1941) is.
Just about to post this!! BtA is a great work
Her name was Stephen, rhymes with 'even'.
And now we know he still has the wonder and vulnerability of a true artist. Besides he likes Devil & The Deep Blue Sea
What a great video!! I love the dancing puppets!!
Always enjoy RT productions! Keep up the good work🔥🔥
Always an honor to play for you, Cindy ❤😊
She’s a genius.
Beautiful. An inspiration, always.
Love this guy and this actor and GLAD he's back and still funny.
Thank you, Howard, we feel the same!
Fabulous interview. Joe and I loved it and are so excited about our season tickets this year!
Thank you, Joe - we'll be back soon! Live long and prosper!
Matt Walley in the Rogue work room. What a great idea. He probably would have made it big time in NY so Tucson is so lucky to have him. The way he physically inhabits a character is unequaled and he's the same way as a friend -- unequaled. Glad you got him to share.
Soooo DELIGHTFUL, Joe! I don't think I would be able to verbalize my journey this well. I wish I lived closer. Your theatre looks like so much fun.
Love ya, Joe!
Amazing guy. No wonder I like him; one of my first roles 4th grade was The Cowardly Lion. I heard some other great Theatre Folk went to Julliard as well. Sure do like his Self-Deprecating Humor, which is rare in Theatre founders. I have not confronted all my Emotional Memory weirdness with my father on stage either. But McGrath plays adult men Real Well anyway. I'm jealous about those who get "Talkin' Good With Joe" on language from a guy who spent way too many years miming "roles" in Ballet shows and building sets everywhere. And y'all have to Revive Death of a Salesman and Jerusalem. Thanks for this. Audience As Community is the Bottom Line.
So glad you enjoyed the interview, Howard, and we'll forward your wonderful comments on to Mr. McGrath!
This was such a delightful interview with Hunter, one of my favorite Rogues. This is a wonderful idea to help us get to know the actors more personally, how they evolved into actors. I look forward to more of these interviews!
So glad you enjoyed it! A new interview will be coming tomorrow morning...
‘Twas a lovely season it was!
