Modern scientists have discovered dodo d.n.a.. It turns out the dodos were just giant deformed pidgeons. I believe an ancient seafaring people purposely stocked the island with domestic inbred meat pidgeons.Most the stuff we learned in school about dodos is bunk.This would be only a few thousand years ago and not millions of years ago.
Just wanna throw this out there there is no way to 100% tell you that they are no dodos or any “extinct” animals. Sure we don’t see them but there is so many placing in this world that are undiscovered. Islands, oceans, caves, mountains, and more. Not to mention there are numerous cases of “extinct” animals popping back up. Now I’m not saying the dodos are still alive but many creatures still may be.
