I think in his own way, Negan cares a lot about Judith, the same way he did with Carl. What had to have made him feel better is that she saw him as a human being at a very young age, when really nobody else did.

4:05….. Tony talks about Route 50……. I’ve been on that road. In the Spring time, many years ago, my husband called to ask if I could come and get him because he had hurt his back using the crank to lower the wheel set -up on the trailer he was hauling. I drove from near Mammoth Cave, across Kentucky, through WVa, and to I-81 in Virginia. We got all his personal things from the tractor into our our vehicle. I started driving us back home. We came to signs to 50-west. He said take that exit, it’ll be a shortcut. Okay…. It started out to be a pretty sunny day, then it got overcast, then it started raining, then the sides of the road got a little snowy, then the snow is piled up a little on the sides of the road, then it got higher the further west we went, then there was snow on the road, and the signs were switching back and forth from “Welcome to Maryland” and “Welcome to West Virginia”. I moved the gear shift from D to 2 to 1, getting progressively slower. We did eventually get to I-79. When someone says, “Hey, take this road. It’ll be a shortcut.” Look at them and say, “um hmm, sure it will be.”

Seriously, I can never look at John Bender the same way. My physical science teacher has him as his school email pfp!😂 ( Each time I began to wonder if my optimism teacher wanted to be rebel as a teenager 🤔 😂)

so excuse me being the only bitch here since this was uploaded but i recently rewatched the full series including the last 3 seasons of which i hardly remembered and maybe never finished. so at least season 10 and 11 were brand new to my brain. i never thought in a million years i would want Negan alive after he killed Glenn, the episode that sent me into a very real panic attack when it first aired live because of how visceral it felt and how brutal it was to a universally adored character. and yet, after completed the whole series, plus The Ones Who Live, and i may still watch DD & Dead City (not sure yet if it's worth the time), i want nothing more than to see Negan be happy and also reunite with Judith, see that Rick is still alive, maybe tell him that he named his baby Carl (sweet headcanon, i have no clue if Negan's baby was born, if his wife survived, maybe that info is in Dead City). i want Daryl and Rick to reunite finally. I want to see everyones reaction to Michonne returning and to Rick being alive all this time. i know DAMN well that the CRM can't simply no longer be a problem now or at the very least be a big driving force and help for Alexandria's inevitable future where they are faced with their biggest herd yet, THAT CAN CLIMB AND OPEN DOORS AND GOD KNOWS WHAT ELSE. i know it may be greedy at this point because i never even thought we'd get anything after 11 seasons, let alone such a happy end for rick and michonne and two other main character spin offs...but come on. we all felt a bit jipped of that real Alexandria reunion right?
