The Heidts was already on the truck when it came in, Art Morrison makes a front end as well and is great quality but there really are so many options nowadays!

You are right only original once but not very fun if you can't drive it and it sits for 20+ years like it had been before we did all of the updates. Now this car is going to be driven like it was intended to and he'll have fun doing it!

This is one of 187,185 non-ss Camaros. There is plenty out there. This has been updated and fit with quality parts that will go 200k more miles without a hiccup. Instead of having it collect dust in a garage, he is now able to enjoy it, just like grandma did when she bought it.

As for us we are just the builders and we do not get to decide what a customer wants to do with their car. I'd like to think we are showing younger generations that its still cool to build older American cars & that the options are endless when they do but remember to each their own!

I agree 100%. I could see maybe a modest engine and suspension refresh, maybe even a LS swap and coil overs and brakes, but these projects sometimes go too far in my opinion. Even if 200,000 were made and this wasn’t a rare model, so very few of them are left it would have been nice to leave it as close to stock as possible. I remember them doing this on Overhauln’ and I would cringe at what they did sometimes.

Lol. The car they started off with has very little original to begin with.

The original roofing sound deadening I am unsure if it is made from asbestos however there is a possibility since the cars were produced back in the 50's. When we update these old cars we use a paint respirator mask when removing the old material just to be safe then we replace it with Vibro Solutions sound deadener.

The paint I believe is Brandywine by House of Kolor and it looks like it has a gold base, however we did not paint the car so I am not 100%

We are definitely trying to get together a "schedule" for posting content but backed up on a lot of stuff and we do all of our content ourselves so it gets put on the back burner sometimes but I will keep this in mind and try to get more updates on what we have going on in the shop!
