In 2014 I listed Guanabo as a great beach and I encouraged Cuba travelers to check it out. A lot has changed in the last 2 years. The beach has been heavily eroded. Here's a clue of THE REAL CUBA Average salaries per month today 2022 PER MONTH 100 pesos to U$1.00 Blue collar 1,200 - 1,400 pesos = U$12 - 14 MD, Lawyer, science up to 4,000 pesos = U$40. Military 4k to 8k pesos 40 to 80 U$ A pound of rice 350 pesos U$35,000 Business proprietor buys everything from the government which also takes about 90% of that business's income. Lawyers, Doctors, Architects, etc. make less money than cooks, waiters and cabbies. Best non military job in Cuba, Taxis. Cab drivers I old US cars I don't know what the deal is but I can find out. Otherwise, cab drivers lease the cars from the government at a rate of 1200 to 1800 a month so they can keep the change. Before you make a video saying that everything is wonderful, maybe you should get out of the city more often in Cuba and see what is really going on talk to the people that are not afraid to talk to foreigners. Face it socialism is unsustainable it's the same thing as communism and you know what I lived in it I know it I experienced it. It sucks breaks up families ruins countries. You didn't step inside a Cuban hospital did you which is what the Democrats in the US all want to turn the us into healthcare for all for free like Cuba. Instead of misinforming your public
I was in guanabo, 94,96 and 98, it was wonderfull then, lot of nightlife back then.would like to go back and see the place
When he said there are very few Chinese left in Cuba, he really means full blooded Chinese. The immigrates that landed here in the 19th century have left their genes in the gene pool. Many Cubans have mixed blood ancestry.

Does it have to be a beach? Everybody in Havana just fishes off the sea wall. Just stand beside the wall and cast your lines. The water is deep and the fish are rather large. Almost all the seafood in Havana is caught this way.

Pay cash to the bus driver. There is no ticket office at the airport. You can buy a ticket online at viazul dot com.
Rebel, did you use the Viazul bus? I do not have CUC on arrival. Can I pay in $US currency
@@tomros49 You cannot pay $US. You must use the Cuban currency. There is a currency exchange counter at the airport. Just exchange money. You cannot use USD in Cuba, it has its own currency.
