Spiritually awakening means that the illusion of separation has vanished. you now know that you and the whole world are not two but one.

Everyone has their own path to go. Never mind if your journey doesn't match with theirs. You have to stick to your own spiritual path and believe me that as you go this path is the most beautiful in the world.

If as you say, there are different paths to the spiritual, then why do churches go out of their way to make acolytes of complete strangers to adjoin them to what it is they believe in? It could just as easily be that the new 'would be' acolyte isn't cut out for the lifestyle they're offered by the collective belief system. I don't recall being initially informed of what the church could contribute to my life and what I was destined to contribute to the church, do you? It was a straightforward case of... we teach, you learn! whether or not that teaching would be helpful to one's being or not, but if tales of Hell and damnation, fear and guilt are helpful to a young child inasmuch as they caused me mental trauma through demonic dreams and other terrors without any guidance as to what's going on, then I suppose you could say I was in good hands then! This is what I love about these organised religions, they've got it all sewn up, they've got everything to teach and nothing to learn, their ignorance is astonishing, yet they do not fear God enough to appreciate that. Also, if everyone's on a different path in life, what's the point of a communal teaching, one teaching to suit all different kinds? it may feed one or two people there but not everyone, it's like going to a restaurant with a fixed menu for everyone, there may be something on that menu that would be bad for you to eat, but the waiter doesn't enquire about your physical constitution and if your susceptible to bad digestion of certain foods! It's like the analogy Paul set out about the difference between receiving milk and solids, consider how long you've been attending church, let's just say you've been going for 20 years, suddenly a new follower arrives in your midst, this will pose two questions, 1) has this person gained previous knowledge equal to yours that they're worthy to share the same high teaching? or 2) have they been inducted for the very first time in the teaching and therefore are beginning their journey clueless? If the answer is No 1, that suggests you'd know that everyone's individual position is monitored, to which you yourself would have been monitored and so could rest assured that it's a consideration given to everyone at your church, if however it is No 2, and they're an absolute beginner in comparison to your many years of attendance, that suggests they're receiving a milk type of teaching, the raw basics which are easy for them to digest, which would then follow that it also means if they grasp everything, they're not getting a teaching of greater depth and therefore neither are you since you're both in the same company! in twenty years of attendance you've been receiving the same old basic teaching without ever being aware and thuswise, you are unadvanced in your knowledge of... well, much really! So when you say (as you do) that we are all on different paths, then what have YOU got to say to me that may validate you? you're presumptuous in treating me as if you know me when you know nothing about me which is tantamount to saying, 'well, I know Charlie well enough who sits near me in church, if I know Charlie well enough, I expect everyone else is just as much a proper Charlie! I'll tell you something you'll never find out in church, that point of scripture where Paul states there is the appearance of religion which is not true, now consider this deeply and with reverence, could you ever imagine your church telling you it only has the appearance of religion about it? obviously not! even if they knew they were false (which they don't) they'd never confess to such a thing, they're only bound to claim to be genuine, even the religions that ARE false are telling their followers they are genuine, just as yours is telling you, so can you be so sure you're not receiving the appearance of religion, have you ever pondered over the possibility that your church could be one of the many false churches? they all teach Jesus you know! how much do you look deeper into the matter? There is so much to say on these matters of religion and there are many thoughts to be had, the truth is not as simple as churches will allow us to believe, as for you, you're now left with a dilemma, do you carry on believing in everything your church tells you or do you start seeking the truth independently? I left Christianity to seek truth, not of my own volition so that you can assure yourself I've strayed from the path, but according to God's guidance which is a far more testing road than Christianity has to offer and God has shown me passages in the scriptures that witness to the truth that Jesus is not God's servant at all, you may ask for evidence, but you will either defend it poorly via your poor teaching only to discover it doesn't concur with my teaching or you will just outright deny it without any true reason why. Well, I guess I've left you with enough food for thought now, it should be enough to keep your mind occupied for a good amount of time, weeks, months, hopefully years, because the more we contemplate the hidden depths in matters, the more we see the reality in things we only previously imagined we saw!
