Are you still playing with this stuff? I'm just getting into it. Was looking for info on loading patterns.
I have a lot of these engines. Can I install them on a bicycle?
Does the Jet 650 have a 3 prong plug?
Yes!
Thanks Went to Woodcraft, they had one on display. Thinking that’s the one I want now, just waiting for a sale.
5v USB supply from computer or whatever your USB is plugged into. Need more information!!!! We need information. 🤣 omg that high pitched noise is a great trigger for brain to ear oscillation 🥳
That screeching is killing my ears but I cant stop watching 😂
Instant subscription here !! 🥳 I am the same kind of sicko and have a few midi dream projects involving a Hammond tone wheel and RMI pianos 🥳 love it.
I have one that has been handed down for generations. I loved messing with it as a kid. I have a ton of the embossed records that are very entertaining to listen to. Even found a set of bingo stamps from the 1920s stashed behind the cone 😂.
This certain model is a four channel which means it has two 6x9 mid speakers one on the side and one beside the expression pedal two 10 inch woofers in a sealed acoustic lined enclosure one 8 inch diameter speaker on the other side of the expression pedal and of course the lovable Leslie speaker
does anyone know if i could find stronger magnets to replace the stock ones? i advanced too much and the hardest setting is too easy for me.
The original did, indeed, have a back. It was sheet metal, with louvers stamped into it. I'm assuming that it was of a lighter gauge than the cabinets, themselves. If Burroughs used steel, those puppies would be HEAVY. Possibly, they were aluminum. I've had building a repro in mind for years. I've gathered most of the over the counter pieces that I'd need, including a few strings of Christmas "button lights." These would make good stand ins for the originals. Unfortunately, I haven't seen these in the stores since I bought my own, back around 2008.
In many cases the first thing would be to clean the optical sensors. There are two, right underneath where the shredded paper comes out, facing each other, and held in place with small screwed on plastic covers . In my case, that was all that was required. I would suggest that as an initial approach, as over time, they get paper dust covering the lenses. Also, the base pops off the silver mechanism housing. Its just held by a few of them around the perimeter. Can always find them with a thin screwdriver and pushed in to help release them of you do t want to use brute force to pop off the top.
god the timers for these things make the encoder worse than the potentiometer..... at least mine (cheaper too!) has a longer timer (10s-5s?)
Been watching all the vids in this series so far, great project!
For those wondering "do I HAVE to have a battery in this thing?"... No. But there are some benefits to having one, should you wish to replace it. 1. Power outage: Yes, you can pull the cord during a power outage to open and close the door. But it's not easy for older folks, or shorter folks, or people with disabilities. Also, if you've just come home in a rain storm and the power is out on your block, the battery will allow you to use your remote to open as usual, instead of having to run in the rain to your front door, open it, go in, enter the garage, open it manually, then go back in the rain to get in your car, drive inside. Then, you also have to close the door with your vehicle in the way , which makes it really challenging to pull the cord down without climbing on your vehicle's roof. UGH. And now, if it's night time, and your only garage light was the opener, you get to unload groceries in the dark. The battery backup avoids all that, allowing me to have at least one place in the house that lights up as usual during a blackout. And with the weather going crazy and our pathetically aging power grid, you can expect a lot more blackouts in your future (depending on your locale). 2. Resale: If you ever sell your place, you will need to install that backup battery or the buyer will try to ask for $150-$300 off the final price for the "servicing".
I would love to see the project finished. If you need it demoed when it’s done, let me know. I’m quite good at playing Hammond’s
I hope so!
anybody have a schematic? I built it but my display only lights momentarily when switch pressed. need to troubleshoot
At 15:46 I see the oil reservoir- how do I get the turn table off and what oil would you use? The arm doesn’t seem to track across the record - so maybe rack and pinion needs oiling? Love your video - I just gave this player to my son for Christmas- he loves it!
Some Edison models have a screw that needs to be removed first. But I don’t think that’s true of the C250. Sees to me I’ve seen something about removing stuck turntables, but I can’t seem to find it now. I did ask Chat GDP and it said to wiggle the turntable gently while you’re pulling up on it. I think that you might be able to use a small hammer to gently tap the center pin Very gently and see if they can loosen it up. Be careful not to break anything of course. A little penetrating oil might help around the center Pin. Mine came off very easily with just a little wiggle. maybe some of the other viewers suggestions from their experience. Thanks for watching.
Well I've had mine for at least 9 months and the battery is junk. The scope will some times just shut off unless you take off the battery cover and leave it off. And even after that it still randomly does it. I basically have to keep it charging.
I'm just now going to get a laptop to hook up to. I've had mine for a while and I love it except for the 2 d which prevents me from seeing the details. I had to get my own card but I still have the disk and never put it in yet
você precisa de um cortador de unhas
"Resonator" is actually called a reproducer. The diaphragm is made of cork.
You had mentioned that the model number corresponds to the price. I have a C19. You have a C250. That doesn’t make sense.…
I should note that we appear to have the exact same model from all other perspectives
WHY WOULD YOU USE THIS GUY'S VIDEO THAT GLASS OR SOMETHING IN FRONT OF IT REALLY SUCKS THIS IS THE POOREST QUALITY YOU COULD POSSIBLY USED TO TRY AND TEACH PEOPLE WITH DAVID ADAM GRENIS 2044 MAPLETON AVENUE BOULDER COLORADO USA
You could just use heat to remove easily. I used a lighter at a nice distance and it worked perfectly!
Thanks for the video!
I was hoping that the magnets were spinning... want to turn a second hand exercise bike into a leg powered electricity generator. I need more exercise, and charging my solar battery might be a good insensitive.
What are the spacer dimensions id od and height? I am unable to find it in my locality or amazon so i will get the same made on a lathe
Thanks for showing us the vise and base. It is nice to see these things in practice.
I know this video is a few years old, but I wanted to make a suggestion for another upgrade to your saw. If you haven't already done so, take a look at Carter guide bearings. I did ALL of Carter's upgrades to my Jet bandsaw (they make a lot more than just guide bearings), and now, it runs cooler, quieter, and smoother, than any other bandsaw I have looked at. All of their products are tailor made to fit most bandsaws on the market, new and old, including my Jet JBS-14 (I don't have the JWBS-14)which was made in 1982.
I have the most basic question there is. What is a good printer to us? I have tried an Anet A-8 and an Adimlab nothing prints respectable parts and the A-8 is (i think) too small of a print plate 8x8.
this video is full of fluff, please trim the fat
Hello. I have one of these but the tone arm doesn't move. Not sure if it is seized. Any suggestions?
I just picked one up, and I realized I have the same problem. There is a flat tooth gear that sits above a roundworm driver gear inside the drive mechanism. Mine was bent and was catching. Hope that helps.
How is this open sign going
It survived the first winter an then some took it off the building. That was right when Covid was coming out so the store didn’t reopen anyway. Thx for asking
HEY YOUNG MAN I HAVE A BURN’t out sign is vertical i took it over to my neighbors and asked if he can fix it. turns out all the leds burn’t out
That's exactly how to fix the problem.... and if you need it to open during a power outage, just pull the dam cord that's meant to open it manually ;) Good vid sir
I'm having trouble connecting the NVR to the internet. I connected the ethernet from my router to the NVR and for network status it shows "Network Busy" and to "Check WAN connection". What do I do?
Hi... Is your Maze Generator still available. It seems you site is no longer available. Happy to make a donation.
Thanks for the video. I prefer keeping the functionality. In my case it was the LED light that was gone. I replaced it with an LED from a cheap bicycle light. Works perfectly. I discovered that the warning light didn't come on, when the front was open and I pressed the frontcover switch manually. So I could conclude that the sensor side was working fine.
Beeping started for me today. Have same brand opener as you - will disconnect the battery and call it a day. Thank you.
He is not doing really this! The tube Can be pulled off by heating it gently gentleman. 6:23
Do you know what the gear ratio is?
Avoid neck direct contact with the tubing. Skin oils are murder for your stethoscope.
Too bad you couldn't get it to play a record 😢
Is there a part 2?
I just realized that I hadn't seen any notifications for one of your videos for quite some time. I had assumed that I must have accidentally unsubscribed but I guess not. I always enjoy watching your videos! I hope that you are doing well and will return soon.
Thanks for staying subscribed. Yeah life has been a little busy lately with a few things going on. I’ve got a part of a video recording I just need to get around to finishing. Seems like there’s always other things to be done. Thanks.
Do you have a adoptior to play 78s
No, unfortunately
It wouldn't work well, I don't think. The records are much thicker on E DD. I suppose you might be able to stack several up, but I've never tried
@@RandallJenningsThe adapter is adjustable and wouldn’t be affected by the height different due to the fact that it pivots on 2 Axis
Thanks very much! I shorted the black and brown pins at the connector by inserting a thin solid conductor rather than cutting the wire assembly. Of course, this accomplished the same result. Good as new my friend! My 15 year old DM15C rules! I'm waiting for the start-capacitor to give it up but, so far, good to go!
Thanks for the video man much appreciated oh and thanks for saving me $17 on not having to buy a back up battery! 😂
Thank you! Now I'm afraid I'm going to burn out the motor because I'm using the shredder so much more!
Hi great video I just purchased one,and would like to know if this a regulated power supply thank
