I subscribed after hearing this Scherzo and the Schubert op. 90 Impromptu in G flat Major. So many pianists play it like a funeral march but not Olga, her feeling reminded me of the tempos that Schnabel and Lipatti used. Beautiful playing.

I don't know if it's because i discovered this piece with this version but i have listened to countless versions of it on youtube since and I always go back to this one. The sound and emotion is so perfect. Thank you for this wonderful interpretation of this masterpiece.

Narrow dynamic range. Covering embouchure too much and so you get a nasal sound and general flatness. Too safe and sterile an interpretation, especially for this particular composer, who was part jokester and an innovative rule breaker.

Bravo nd i love this tone, sweet sound, i tried snakyo wood headjoint and othere ..on my sankyo but not sure it is good idea to put a grenadille headjoint ..a whole grenadilla Flute is so great, it changes the sound, more color and sweetness and a little more dark, yes less clear but with more color, beautiful sound

You can play it dreamily as Olga does, or intensely like Sokolov, or whatever way, it will always be a supreme wonder of a piece of music.

I tend to think of Opus 22 no. 4 as the first (1772) real masterpiece of the Classical period -- nothing of this level of interest/intensity had been composed since Handel finished Jephtha twenty years earlier. This is a really fine rendition and I'm sorry to see (if their web site is correct) that this quartet is no longer performing. I also agree with viewer erinwhite that it's heartwarming to watch Emma Parker smile and interact with her colleagues.

Wow!!! This is eight years ago. I've discovered this. Boris Bizjak, if you play this masterpiece of Boehm, it's totally different and new. I ended up watching this till the end. I'm really moved. Thank your so much!
