I finished this game for the first time on my Nintendo Switch after finishing Street of Rage 2, I never realized how the Sega Genesis has so many amazing gems before, I was left wishing for a new Ristar game, too bad it never happened.

Fun fact: it's possible there are other stars like ristar as he is seen sleeping in a bubble surrounded by other bubbles where he's in

Ristar will always have a place in my heart for being the most unique game ever, it's unfortunate that sega didn't want to bring him back even though they could have easily made of 3d ristar game since they were moving on to Dreamcast, but it just wasn't meant to be this little star dude is an underrated sega character, I really hope one day in the future sega brings him back or at least includes him in a future sega game
