I went to the same high school as him. I never forget the speech that our ball coach gave to the team about him and drugs and how it ruins careers in football and everywhere else. It stuck with me all these years. It's a damn shame he let a potential hall of fame career go to waste over substance abuse. That stuff can cripple even the strongest men if they let it get ahold of them like that. But He's come a long way though folks. He's redeemed with Christ and he's a sober man now, has been for years. So in hindsight, he came out for the better and I'm sure his family feels the same. God bless!

I listened to Munson back in these days, very few were on tv ,and Munson had a way of making your blood pressure go up while painting a perfect picture of what was happening , he was the goat and really really missed, can’t help but believe he’s watching the Smart coached Dawgs and calling the games to all who have passed on !!
