I did not do the remapping of the engine / ECU, it was done by the previous owner. And I do not have the car anymore - I had it for 9 years and I did the timing gear assembly during that time.

Yes, the Brabus steering wheel has them and while driving on track they are very useful! Otherwise I like to drive mostly on auto.

Milan Kolarovic Correct me if Im wrong but the standard steerig wheel doesnt have paddle shifters? So did you buy a barabus wheel of ebay and install it and then the paddles work? Im thinking of buying a smart roadster but would be bored with just auto all the time

Smart Roadsters came with 3 different kind of steering wheels of which the "cheapest" model did not have paddles, but the the other had. You can differentiate these as they have 3 spokes. I bought my Smart Roadster with all the goods already in place as the previous owner had ticked all the goodie-boxes when buying the car (it has lambo doors etc). I think you need to re-program the car if you upgrade the steering wheel later on.

Yes I do use them on track. Works as you'd imagine them to work, no problems.
