Would you have a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 with a 302 or 1969 Chevrolet Camaro ALS with a 427?
zhlédnutí 2KPřed měsícem
Take a look at these beauties! First up is the rare (1 year only) 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 with a 302 cubic inch engine. This car had a lot of options including the vinyl roof. Next up we have a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro ALS with a 427 cubic inch engine. This one was nice too, and I like the hardtop instead of the vinyl. Which one would you rather have in your garage or collection? Let me know in...

I prefer the big block too, even though the 302 is more rare.
@@classiccarphoto101 I’d want the hp.
@@darylhannon4723 That too!
What color blue is that
I'm not to sure. It's gorgeous though!
Now THESE are cars! LOVE THE 442!
Which one do you like better, the 68 Hurst or the 72?
@@classiccarphoto101 that’s really tough but the 68’ is My personal favorite honestly
@@blacjackdaniels200 One of my close friends owns that one. It's a beauty. I have another short on my profile of it starting and leaving to line up for that race. Also, a few stills on my Instagram.
My brother has an all original Z-28, but not a matching number DZ-302 he bought used in 1972. It is a fun ride to drive and sounds nice with the open chambered exhaust. I had a 65 Vette coupe with the L78 396 with side pipes no mufflers. The big blocks are just my cup of tea and i love a deep throaty sound.
Numbers matching doesn't seem to matter as much anymore. Lots of collectors want to drive their cars now, not just have them be trailer or garage queens. That Vette sounds nice too! I agree with you on the big block sound 100%.
My neighbor has an unrestored 69 Z/28 all original with one repaint..hugger orange/white stripes no vinyl top..60k miles.
Very nice spec.
Great looking cars 🚗🚨 thank you for this video 📸😊
Thanks for your comment. You're welcome.
302 Please
Good choice.
Both r stunning!
I agree. Which one would you take?
I have a special place for either one, what I don’t have is the cash to bring it home!😢
@@classiccarphoto101 The Z28 with the 302. Luv the vinyl top
@@steveavant9727 This guys garage was amazing. Check out the Corvette collection video I have. It's the other side of this garage!
@@Madbootdestruction It's a really nice, rare one too.

Work of art that one..
100%
Just scored a 68 same color, but its getting a 450hp 6.0LS with LS3 heads and Texas Speed cam in it backed by a 4L80E and 3000 stall.
Nice set-up 👍😈
That's kind of tight 🦇💨
*Promo SM*
it kinda looks like a late model
Love that old 1960’s Baldwin Motion look with the fat tires and cragers ss rims.
A very loud popcorn machine.
The proportions are a bit off so this was probably a kit, despite that it still took time to build and it looks nice
They tried to make that car look as Countach as possible!
daytona use steel cage back then? wow 😂
The racing versions did.
@@classiccarphoto101 it did? I'm not it's 100% original
@@AudioAdios I'm sure it wasn't raced in the class with Richard Petty. But, it was still raced. 100% original or not, still sounds great.
Rock and roll city
"We have a Daytona at home" The Daytona at home:
No way that's a real Daytona. Cool regardless though
It's probably a kit or a rebuilt one who knows
This was apparently raced back in the day, but I'm not sure what series.
My father who worked for Holman and Moody (FORD) back then told me that they were only raced in Cup and on Speedways . Is it possible it's a real one , for sure but it would definitely have a tracable linanage if it is because was so few of them . Current value ... hard to say but I'm thinking a million plus (Edit) ON further review I think this is a clone , tribute car as I have seen 4 real ones in my life and 1 clone before and once yo have seen the real ones in person the clones are easily spotted . The A pillers on this car look all wrong .
@@Trackratz-zl9di Amazing information. Thanks!
Also, the back window is incorrect for a Superbird. @@Trackratz-zl9di
This is great. Both are extremely nice. Brings back memories of when I used to tow my Camaro with a '70 El Camino to and from the track. Mine were both black. Good old days....
That sounds awesome. I love that I was able to bring back some memories with this video.
What the price on the car
Unfortunately, it's not for sale.
😍 👍
Merci
My Heart Skipped a Beat when I seen that Plymouth Belvedere.
That is an amazing car with an awesome Hemi in it.
i think you got it wrong. looks like a '67 to me.
I know this owner personally, it's a 68 with quite a few mods done.
67s have the wing windows,68/69s don't. It's a 68.
1968 also had large side marker lights. 1967 had none
100% 1968... I have one myself, SS/RS 396. 67 had vent windows and no side marker lights
1968., no side front vent windows RS/SS
Rubbish wheels
To each their own 🙂
Beautiful car. Love the chrome mags.
They really suit this car.
Is it 4 sale?
Not that I know of.
You can't park there mate.
He was figuring out where he was supposed to park. The gentleman told him and he had to turn around. This was the best angle I got.
"I knew it!!" 🤣@@classiccarphoto101
Looks great and sounds Vicious !!
This is a beauty for sure.
too much cam for stock.... but sounds pretty SPICY!!
It's an L72 427 with a full roller cam.
Beautiful car, my dad had a Toyota like that, except his was pink.
I don't know of any car that Toyota made that looks like this Oldsmobile 442. Do you remember what it was called?
Toyota????
@@garylentz5504 Nope, Oldsmobile 442
Thumper cam ?????
I'm not too sure what cam is in it. It has an L72 427 with a full roller.
@@classiccarphoto101 Not a Thumper then. 👍
It’s for sale..???
@@giovanniemoiseslozadarodri7570 Unfortunately not.
dream car ❤❤
It's one of mine too.
Drooool.
Oh YA!
I may listen to it 7/24. I'm 62 y.o. now and in early '80s, I saw one in real life for the first time - also been the last time - in my country and fallen in love with it at first glance. It was a retired race Pantera in dark yellow and matt black with a British nr. plate. Not even knowing the existance of such a beauty, I wondered why it didn't sound like the silver Ferrari 308 GT which was the only unique one around like Pantera. I could only recall "De Tomaso" from "Mangusta" in my Matchbox die cast mini car collection. Later I was told it was powered by a Ford V-8 and roaring sound of it was much better for me than the screaming Ferrari. Have written much but if I had one, I even would drive it like Fred Flintsone as "barefood powered". Not like the clownish hypercars of today, it has the soul and you can't say for a single point of it "it would be better if ..."
Thank you so much for sharing your story. The Ford engine does sound really good in these. In my opinion, this is one of the best looking classic cars. It almost looks exotic, like a Lamborghini from the 80's.
@@classiccarphoto101 Oh yes, Pantera and Miura are the flawless, excellent designs looking containing elegant and aggressive

This car show is awesome 👌
I agree. There are usually some really rare cars at this one! Typically, there are some muscle cars that you don't often see either 👍
Wow 😍😍😍I love the engine sticking out of the hood 😍😍😍
It has quite a big blower on it 😎
Doug Demuro should review this car.
