Oh man! I haven’t heard the name Pigeon John since I found out about him while listening to the Living Legends guys’ discographies. He had some earworm tracks. Really liked this project, the Love is Blu single with Aloe Blacc has me super stoked for the new Blu & Exile album.

This skyrocketed to top 5 albums of the year for me almost instantly. As someone who leans towards hip hop, it beat out Vince, Schoolboy, and JPEG for me for a hot minute. Found myself coming back to it over and over. It's just so nice in the car w the sun out. But also, the Doechii album absolutely rocked my world. I can't get enough right now. Glad to have found your channel through that reaction.

mixtapes don't have to be remixes, covers or sampled. mixtapes are mainly a singles playlist where songs don't have to lead to each other, and could be listened to in whatever order. Where as a Concept/Self-titled album usually has a story to it where songs would lead up to other songs and are meant to be listened to in order or it's worldbuilding to help audiences figure out what the brand of the artist is.

I can’t stop singing this album’s praises. Bought it instantly. Just wish I was closer to NY to go to one of his meet-and-greet vinyl sales.

In my humble opinion (only) Ka is Better than Roc Marciano. 🤷🏽‍♂️ Roc isn't as deep or intricate with his bars. (Layered) But Roc has more personality (Razzle dazzle) for example...in battle rap you have two kinds for battle rappers (you can compare them (KA and Roc with Battle rappers) their writing styles is similar) Ka is like a Loaded lux and Daylyt type Roc is like a murda mook to tsu surf type
