Grand Elysée Hamburg - Room Tour Park South in 4K | May 2024, Hamburg Germany
With its 5 star status, the Grand Elysée Hamburg is one of the finest hotels in Hamburg.
Founded by the Hamburg-based entrepreneur Eugen Theodor Block, who is well known for his Block House steakhouse chain and the Jim Block burger restaurants, it was opened in 1985 and expanded in 2005/2006 to more than 510 hotel rooms.
The hotel includes an exclusive Spa area, several top class restaurants and a roof top bar.
Located just a few minutes by foot from the ICE and Metro railway station at Dammtor and close to Hamburg’s city center, Alster lake and Moorweidenpark, the hotel’s the ideal starting point for a trip to Hamburg. The city offers many internationally known attractions, like the HafenCity, the Elbphilharmonie and the Speicherstadt (warehouse district), as well as countless museums, theaters, and a variety of shopping options.

Is the airco good?
Unfortunately the aircon was turned off when we were there in march, but the hotel told us they would switch it on during summer season. So I guess it depends on the season you’re traveling.

Wow, what a coincidence! 😅 The elevators are literally only 50 feet away - super convenient! But I have to admit that we never used the stairs, so I’m not quite sure if they are close as well.. When is your trip coming up? Have a great stay at the BoardWalk 😊
