The sound of these SHM cds are overrated IMO. Too much sound compression. However, the packaging is stellar. This one in particular because they gave the double album the gatefold treatment that Casablanca mysteriously didn't. And they used the picture from the bonus poster that was included with the original album. Crimson created their own gatefold version of the OTR:GH I&II cd but instead of having the pic of Donna, they just had her name and album title font design inside the gatefold. I really wished they had copied the SHM packaging completed. The final thing this SHM version got right over the Crimson version (which I forgot to mention comes inside the Donna Summer Encore box set) is that the album fits onto one cd (like the old 90's Polygram cd). Crimson (with probable instruction from Donna's husband Bruce) released the album on two cds as if it were a vinyl record, which sucks, because it's a cd with enough space for the entire album. Who the heck wants to have two cds for one album???
