This is my first time to Japan. Only had two days so I had to be very choosy about where I went. I decided to focus on Kyoto. Took the bullet train from Tokyo. Got a nice hotel room and crashed for the night. The next day I took off and explored as much as I could. Stopping by the Tozando Stores and checking out their awesome Katana selection. Would love to go back, Kyoto is awesome!

    When you draw, many swordsmen will withdraw the saya slightly so they are not risking hitting it with the tip. Also don't wave it around like a highlander. You would immediately lose a hand. Lastly, you should probably look up iaijutsu kata #1 and work that down before you start trying Hollywood tip flips out of the scabbard. It will teach you to know where the blade is.

    wow its kind of crazy that a sword is worth 5 000 000 yen and that suit of armor is only 1.65 million yen. The amount of hours it would take you to make that suit of armor would be enough to forge, grind, sharpen and fit at least four katanas, yet its worth less. Especially the mail portion.. that requires a lot of painfully slow work.

  • @dogbitez
    @dogbitez Před 7 měsíci

    Geez, I had such a dumb question I couldn't get an answer to... and your video solved it for me. I've been using my new maintainer for this past week, with alligator clips, and wanted to install the permanent clips instead. And while I know it's safe to touch the battery, I was nervous about screwing down the nuts once the lead was attached (even with the charger itself not connected). Like, I'd create some electrical arc with me in the middle of it, haha. I don't know this kind of basic stuff and I always have to try to Google search it out. I just knew something bad would happen and the AAA dude I'd have to call to tow my car (once I shorted the whole thing out and recovered from severe burns) would say, "Oh wow, lady, you mean you actually touched the nuts AFTER you had the lead on?!! Didn't you know that created a closed circuit with high voltage?!!" Haha. Anyway, thanks for putting your hands all over that while installing the permanent clips/lead! Answered my question for sure. I just finished putting it on, wove the plug end thru the front grill, and I'm really pleased with myself. I love not having to worry about my little Honda FIT battery dying due to endless short trips and long stretches with no driving. But especially pleased now with the easy come 'n go aspect of this setup... I don't have to pop the hood at all now. Thanks for the video!

    • @backcountryrich7740
      @backcountryrich7740 Před 6 měsíci

      Hi, I got that ruler at a hardware store. Probably find one on Amazon or Harbor Freight. Hope that helps.

    • @backcountryrich7740
      @backcountryrich7740 Před 8 měsíci

      Thanks! If your truck is 2-12 volt batteries in parallel (12 volt system) you can connect one 12 volt charger similar to the one I have. Connect positive to positive on the first battery and negative to negative on the second. The charger you buy might need to be more robust than mine since you have 2 batts. Good wiring diagrams online for 2 battery automotive systems. Hope that helps.

  • @jdmjd1989
    @jdmjd1989 Před 8 měsíci

    Do you have the link to these stud extractors. That’s what I need. I don’t like how to remove and install the studs with the two nut method as I feel it strips the nut and bolt. That’s what happened to me one of them stripped really bad so I just used a dremel to cut a notch in it to see if I can get a flathead on it but it broke the Piece of metal from stud so now have no other way to remove unless get this stud extractor socket. Even with only trying to get it torque to about 14 lbs can’t get it.
