Except that it's meaningless. Any more that a 1tb drive is a waste on a TIVO. The TIVO has no file sorting ability at all. 200 recordings is about max stacked up on each other in no particular order and that's a 1tb drive. Simple as that. DVR's by their nature are not designed for large libraries. They're designed for constant recording and deleting. And with a WD Green Drive they'll go at least 11 years and still record 6 HD shows at a time with no problems.

Is the Tivo T6 compatible with the mini?

Keep in mind the hdd MUST be CMR. Never use SMR, they will fail, they are not made to run 24/7 for long periods of time. NAS, DVR/PVR Surveillance hdds are made for long running continuous. Some of WD Blue or Green are CMR drives. Tivo has used both of these in the DVR's.

I turned of Dolby 5.1 in sound settings (hdmi), then gamesound worked

thanx allot!! This fixed my second-hand PS3 that detected my old hd-ready tv as a 3D screen... wtf? (and it it gave me no sound)

I did that and still no sound.....

This is great, you should make more videos like this!!!

This video is great, however another possible solution is to go into sound output settings and manuely turn off Dolby Digital 5.1 CH. And turn on DTS 5.1 CH. I hope this comment helps

Sometimes I get a little more output from one channel than the other with my ps3 through its analog audio multiconector. (Cause still I own a good Yamaha analog amplifier). The Rca cables are in an excellent condition as they were new!. I got to think it might be the speakers or the amplifier too but no.! I listen a lot of cds, you tube, spotify....not just games. Have you ever experienced anything similar too????

These look the best the dry ones I’ve used multiple times holds up really great. I’m assuming the wet ones work just as well.
