7:08 this part of the cutscene is a testament to just how good ff14 is with the presentation of it's story and cutscenes. The crystal protecting you, the echoing ancient voice finally confirming that we ARE Azem, the invocation activating and above all else To The Edge kicking in over YOU framing you as the boss. ABSOLUTE PERFECTION!

The part I will love about this fight forever is how even in normal mode, you need a full tank LB3 to survive his LB4. He's throwing everything at you. You must respond in kind, or die.

PANDAEMONIUM 9-12 SPOILERS in retrospect, the only time we see themis openly swearing to use his power as the emissary to steer mankind and the star upon their true course, it's at the end of pandaemonium where lahabrea rejoins himself and elidibus promises you that he will make sure that his unstoppable dedication to the star is kept in check. i thought he was forgetting that he swore something to azem, but instead he forgot that he swore to _you_ that he would stop _this_ from happening
