I think Gary Parrish deserves more hate than Rob Dauster/Field of 68 but Dauster does have that arrogant and egotistical type of attitude that oozes from his podcast. The rest of Field of 68 is fine though. Jeff Goodman spoke highly of TSJ even when the suspension came down initially. Oglesby and John Fanta are class acts as well

If RayJ Dennis truly committed to the staff, then why did he need to take another visit? If you're committed, you stop your visits. It just goes to show that RayJ was not a trustworthy guy and at the end of the day, the Illini made it farther than Baylor did. So, it's all water under the bridge

I like Dra's attitude and disposition. He has a good head on his shoulders and I think him talking about how hard his dad coached him is making it easier to acclimate to Underwood's coaching style. I like that he can handle that and that he understands that his role was one thing this season and will hopefully evolve into a bigger role this upcoming season. He has the right mentality and I hope things break for him this upcoming season. He will be an important part alongside Ty Rodgers to keep the culture stable and to help mentor the newer guys into the Illini way of doing things. Illini Nation has your back. Boiler Down:)

I saw a few places where they clashed on the defensive philosophy. Chester wanted to be more aggressive mainly on the pick and roll coverage instead of playing Coleman in 97% drop he wanted coleman to blitz/hedge the pick and roll.

Best teams in Illinois in the 2000s: 2005, 2001, 2024, 2021. The 2001 team was deeper and won more against highly ranked opponents compared to this year's team(6 games against top 25 opponents) and had a very tight Elite 8 loss to Arizona as we remember.

I think this game will come down to 3pt percentage. Who ever makes the most 3s. If curtus jones, Millan Molcelovichi, Gilbert and Tamin are hitting 3s, it will be a close game. If ISU plays like they played the whole month before the big 12 tournament, then Illinois wins.
