If you've purchased lumber or dressed wood from KJP Select Hardwoods, more than likely we processed it on site and on demand. Since beginning our expansion in early 2022, we not only added space and products in the retail store, but we vastly increased our floor space and capabilities in our (milling?) shop. This behind the scenes video gives you a closer look at our process for fulfilling retail orders as well as custom woodworking jobs, while giving you an up close look at the industrial machinery we have to make sure your orders are fulfilled safely and efficiently. Our new milling set up has provided us with 10,000 square feet more than we previously had, and you would not believe how quickly we were able to make use of it all thanks to our loyal customers keeping us busy 365 days a year. This space is the heartbeat of our company and we're thrilled to show it off after all of our hard work!

lol I can see the glued joints from across the room my dude. I mean it looks fine but it’s not the same.
What about doors of 20mm thickness? Surely the mounting plate needs to be closer to the edge, or not?

One detail I think was missed is that the drawer box length must match the under-mount slide length (e.g. no extra inch can be added to the box even if the carcass allows, thanks to the slide’s pin at the back). In comparison, the side-mounts don’t have any such restriction so boxes can be as long as you like. Hope that’s correct!

I love this store. It's a good thing that I don't live close to it, it's about a 12hr drive away, or I would be spending a lot of my spare money there. I was in the new shop, about 2 weeks ago and the new layout is impressive, plus they have a great selection of exotic hardwood.
Is it food safe?
Yep! Once it’s bonded/cured you’re good to go. It’s personal preference though on whether you’d like to use it on a cutting board as over time you’re cutting into and degrading the surface

Do diode lasers work well with this material or do I need an excuse to get a second laser? Either way, I'm going to be getting some to give it a try. Wife's orders!

Our initial PatternPly options are on 1/8" clear so they can't be cut on diode lasers. All of the 0.01" Clearflex options can be cut on a diode though!
@@LYTOMIZE_Woodshop sorry for the confusion earlier! Just wanted to note that the ClearFlex (0.01") options will work on diode lasers but our first batch of 1/8" is all on clear acrylic so they won't cut on that style of laser
