Generator technician here ! It could be a faulty sensor or low oil too, but on the smaller 2-4kva generators I've come across, 99% are run with very little to no oil and never fail to crank over the first time, indicative of a complete failure of the sensor. On these small ones specifically, it's far more likely that a dead plug, blocked fuel strainer, or broken / blocked carb is what's stopping it from starting.

@@Socalfmx84 the dipstick is off on the side down low yes I checked the oil in part 1 that's the biggest problem of trying to do a series of shorts lol good call though that definitely would ruin it

Vinyl is the NEW current product....linoleum and asbestos or asphalt was the OLD...TIP asbestos tiles are usually 6x6 or 8x8 tiles and are relatively safe unless you make dust.....wet the tiles first and you are safe!

Those old tiles are VCT vinyl composite tile

@@joshuam8146 that's a interesting idea I'm just not sure how well the glue will stick to the slick surface of the linoleum.

It originally had a 318 so probably going to put one of those back in it.

Both handle brackets (10) have holes in them; but I did install the hanging bars (2) like show in in the manual with the holes in the up position. FIve of the six haning bar supports (3) attached correctly, but the 6th was jacked up, so I had to force it, which meant that the hanging bars do not quite sit flush in their slotted holes. Flipping everything as done in the video would have still resulted in the same issue, only on the opposite side. My garage is starting to look a little bit cleaner. Now I only have to build 3 storage racks for the 50 storage totes I have laying all over the place. :) Thank you for the informative video.

Hmm hadn't noticed that it was pretty thick probably needed a second cut on it. I do need to replace the blades as well I had sharpened them but they definitely need replaced.
