Same as cutting
Straight to the point! 💪 😉
Why is it that you tape it for? Ive seen this is different videos. Thank you!
@@israelisrael744 it’s just to pull any loose fluff off 👍🏼
What is that tool called?
@@gilldoyle3295 it’s a taping knife
@@spongecakebuilds9537 thank you 😍
That's going to take forever
🤦
Great tip!!
I do the same thing but I use the 18in helps with cutting more of the wall at one time
This is hilarious
Brilliant! I’m painting now and will try this!
Does it matter what kind of tape u use?
Any masking tape will work 👍🏼
Thank you. I heard u have an accent, so I'm not sure if we were in different time zones. So I used a lint roller 😂. I'm glad I did it the right way 😊 thank you for your fast response. U r awesome.
@@LisaKorman-qw9jt wow thank you 👍🏼
Daaaammmnnn that's a good trick, I'ma try it tomorrow
Might I add, fuck all the taping in a solo job!!
God no don't do this
Show us a closer view from up top lol
And what does that do ??
Gives you nice tight mitres
No
Tosher
Professional painters expecting non-pros to cut in like them…. If I can’t drawn a straight line, I’m not painting one. Thanks for the tip!
...non fai prima a mettere un nastro da carrozziere sul battiscopa?
Great job, great idea
That's awesome
I mean if im painting a wall then im also going to paint the skirts to but after ive done the walls, so i slap the paint on when cutting in the bottom which mean im generally ok with paint on the skirts 🤷♂️ im going to rub them down afterwards anyway and will then cut the skirts i to the wall, i find i get a much cleaner finish doing it that way
Thank you. I'm going to try this
I hope it works for you, not too much paint, start a couple of inches up and work your way down 👍🏼
@@spongecakebuilds9537 Ok. Thanks again
Brilliant!
That's how ya Don't do it.😂
This blows. I always get paint on the baseboard on places where there was no way the paint would leak thru. Best is blue tape, plaster or caulk over the top, paint, remove tape.
You do realise that there is a paint brush right under your head right 😂
Learn how to cut with your brush. You’re taking twice as much time and I bet there’s a squiggly line right above that base
I've never had success with this. Paint inevitably spills, smudges, marks the skirting etc
That’s exactly what happened to this dude. Hence the camera angle where you couldn’t see all the issues he created.
I tend to agree. It does ok, just be prepared to do a bit of clean up
Bruh this is how unskilled people paint lol
When you dont know how.to use a brush
If you’re gonna do that you may as well just tape the baseboard
Doesn't work, learn to cut in and do it right wannabes
New guy started today and attempted to cut in this way, it turned out to be his last day!
What he do wrong, please elaborate?
@@minniemurchison7148the assumption that all skirting’s and facings are level edged. Not to mention the wall too. Try that tool against most boards and walls and there will be dry spots and paint over the edge
Just cut it with a brush.
Your doing the because you CANT CUT. Or tape for that matter. Rookie
Where do the lights plug in ?
On the other side of the wall behind the fridge
I do hope you don't do this for a living.
This is a cardinal sin
That brush looks crazy
Rookie move
Do not do this
Never that
What a lazy unprofessional way
I feel like taking 45 minutes to learn to cut in would look way better those line boards NEVER leave a clean line like you think they do n a roller sure as hell doesn’t either
Should of have watch this b4 I started painting
You'd be laughed off site for doing this.
Thanks so much
Come on now.who wants to spend all kinds of time tapeing everything.than you gotta peel it all off and you know that dont work perfect either.someone always gotta do it better than the next.everyone has their own way of doing it.people do these vids for the newbies.try all different ways and do what works for yah.we dont all walk the same road but we all get to the same place.
Please don't try this at home
Tape it!
