Brutalist Styling With A Killer Bracelet
I have reviewed a few watches from this micro-brand and this one is probably the prettiest and most uniquely designed
Now although many of the design elements work well here, there are also some areas where I feel the watch could have benefited from and I share my thoughts
Overall a very attractive offering and superb bracelet

Love the bracelet , although it looked like a simple butterfly clasp so no adjustment. It could be difficult to get a good fit. My rado captain cook has a BOR and comes on a normal push button clasp , thats incredibly thin but also offers no micro adjust. Its 2024 now and people want on the fly adjustment, to deal with your wrist swelling etc... if your paying north of 1k , it should be a given now. Didnt love the watch face , but I'm a diver guy , and I just wanted to fill those indices with lots of lovely lume !!! And I agree it looked a little fat , considering it was more of a dressy sport watch. The bracelet looked good on the 58 though , although the new tudor bb on the jubilee looks amazing, but the 4k price tag now is getting a bit silly. I remember when the bb first came out and it was around 2k just over 10 years or so ago. Great video as always bro .

I like it with the domed sapphire man. Is just a matter of taste I guess. I would just sand those cappers and keep the black tropic strap with the squares below every perforation, because they don’t make me sweat unlike the orange example with a smooth side, from experience those types make you sweat a lot and stick to the skin. Great video though and thanks for showing Nevada G. I think they are a great brand with some really nice watches for every occasion.

I might be wrong but this may be the least expensive watch that comes with this Sellita-510 M chronograph movement. This Beaufort has a lot of good things going for it. Personally I would have liked to see Beaufort make their first Mech. Chronograph a little more traditional; bigger dial and sub-dials, second/minute markers with a thinner bezel to give way for the dial size. Plus the chances of me using the pulse measuring scale are very small. Good first attempt! And I commend Beaufort for what they are doing. Their next effort with a chronograph might get me sending some money to them.

I don’t think every bracelet needs to taper. I have great bracelets they don’t taper that are more comfy than tapering ones. Clasp design is also very important, some clasps are are too big or too small but not enough people talk about clasps being too thick such as many on the fly quick adjust bracelets that actually makes it very uncomfortable. Each bracelet/watch design has to be worn to know whether it works for you.

I didn’t not get the love for tapered bracelets. If there wasn’t a watch head on it, you wouldn’t wear a tapered bracelet, right? I find tapered bracelets a bit feminine. I love my beads of rice, Milanese and Seamaster bracelets among my collection.

I like that they're trying something new. That salmon dial is really cool. Unfortunately, I think with the smaller sub-dials and the Pulsometer text around the outside edges of the face of the watch, they probably should have made it a tad bigger than 39mm. Good call on the articulation of the flat link bracelet. That would drive me nuts. Unacceptable, really. Overall, pretty cool watch that with a bit of refinement might turn into something special.

I feel this, buying a watch that is over £100 even is a statement these days, yet alone the ones that cost a few k, My first "premium" watch purchase, about 4 months back was a presage sharp edge atsuki, mostly because i got it for £300 as new, and i have bonded with it, specifically the one i have as its a brown and gold combo face, initially i was looking for something with a red face as its kinda uncommon and typically my style, but much of them are double the price at least, the sharp edge series in general is the sort of watch i would daily, its what fits me best i feel. As i do want some luxuries at one point, I know ill get a GS eventually, seiko as a brand fits with me as i favor the "made in japan" stamp, but it will likely be that special occasion watch. If i have a collection of significance in the future, I think the only reason they would be sold is to help you out when you need it most.

Very cool. I owned one.. a limited edition x Revolution, the "No Barracuda". I personally like the "Pac-Man" dial more. Has more character and playful. I also considered the case to be like a baby or mini Panerai. Very comfortable. I was immediately impressed once I saw in person and had one on wrist at a Wind-Up Watch Fair in San Francisco in 2022. So, compact and relatively thin for a 1000m WR. Kind of amazing. It totally breaks popular opinions that a dive watch needs to be bigger and thicker to achieve higher water resistance. I mean NG did it way back in the days already with this Depthmaster design and it all seems like a faithful recreation of what once was, now. I don't mind the domed crystal. I rather enjoy a bit of distortion as it adds a little more character and magnified effect which in turn adds a bit more visual depth, seemingly. For a vintage design, a domed crystal seems appropriate. For a more modern dive watch, a clean flat crystal makes more sense.

  • @martinharrison4245

The best bit of the the design of this watch is the strap to case . Its beautiful. Im not a fan of rubber but the grey strap looked great. The side profile looked similar to an omega aqua terra , but the omega is just nicer. Call me old fashioned, but its hard to spend over 1k on a brand that isnt proven. Christopher ward is in that same price category, and actually the 12 o clock logo , could be mistaken for a CW. You could purchase this watch and not like it much, so whats the value then ? A similar priced seiko would still hold 60% of its original value. Its a nice enough watch , but nothing is really unique about it, to take the plunge . Great vid as ever .
