They look plasticy. A lot of power banks have aluminium shells like the Promate Titan 130 & 160. Makes these devices look cheap even though they are way more expensive.

I've had the same anker powerbank since 2011 and it doesn't charge fast but the battery still holds. I'm a full anker customer. Love this brand and will follow them blindly 😂

Never get the esr battery pack.. charging is so strange.. 1 minute shows it’s full and 5 minutes later doesn’t turn on 2 weeks after purchase without any damage or water damage.

Sorry, but you should absolutely NEVER charge a laptop while it’s inside a sleeve or case! The heat buildup would probably just shut down charging, but it could very easily become a fire hazard. I hope the gaps in these cases are not actually advertised for this purpose.

I bought the anger 200w 20000mah, how is it possible that the anger at 100% turns to 0% charging an iPad from 0% only up to 68%? I would love to understand how is it possible that a device with 20000mah turns to 0% charging a device with less than the 1/2 of this mAh, im totally disappointed, in the MacBook Pro m2 16" it only charges 20% more, this is hilarious for a device that is 100 euro

Ignore the video. The prime 27,650 is better. The 100-watt charger is worth it considering that the in and out usb ports will have more traffic if you do decide to charge your power bank through the usbc ports. Those also lower the life expectations on those specific ports. Now charging it on the base from 0% to 100% takes an hour. At times, i can get 3.5 100% charges on my smartphone. This means i can get about 14 hours worth of charge just from the power bank 27,650mah alone. Not counting the fact that my phone would have 4 hours of power while playing pokemon Go. An app known to drain batteries. From 60% to 100 %, my phone takes 35 to 40 minutes to charge. This video doesn't specify anything that I mentioned lacks numbers and values. Cost wise, the anker prime 27,650 mah does cost more + the adapter, but at the same time, you get more out of it. The charger adapter alone makes the anker prime worth getting. I have a sit to stand desk with a lot of bells and whistles. The 100-watt adapter is worth it.

Ive owned the anker mag go 334 10k power bank using it with both my samsung s24 ultra and my better halfs iphone 15 plus and 4 months into owning it and it died charged it over night on a anker power brick went to use it with the usb c port on it with my samsung s24 ultra amd nothing .. they sent me a replacment in like new condition that looks worse then the one it was too replace .. but the "new" wont charge wirelessly tried an iphone 12 plus iphone 15 plus and my samsung s24 ultra the old one worked previously but the new one just power cycles itll try gor about 3 seconds turn off i take it off put it on and then itll keep power cycling with the blue led turning on then off and it never charges consistently enough to actually charge any of the devices i own or have around . And the warraty is a 18 month says hassel free but its been far from hassel free ..

The problem with the Rockform case (have one) is it sticks connecting with standard MagSafe chargers. I’ve have good luck w Anker, but it will not reliably charge with an Apple puck. Pretty common now to have manufacturers claim “MagSafe” when they really aren’t.

The 737 has a big downfall compared to the Aukey-designed Euker metal body charger you reviewed here. The latter supports simultaneous input and output at any combination of power levels. For example, I can plug my relatively power-hungry ThinkPad P1 into it (charges 100W from USB), and then plug the battery pack into the car 30W charger. This arrangement offers a few benefits. First, the computer doesn't constantly draw 100 watts. Once its battery is charged, it only uses what's needed, allowing the battery pack to slowly regain some charge while connected in this manner. The computer requires at least a 60 watt charger to even acknowledge it, and it this isn't provided, it simply ignores the charger. Using the battery pack allows the computer to work in the car. This arrangement also allows you to extend runtime if you simply don't have enough charger to supply the device you have, with the battery pack delivering the extra and the charger propping it up for a bit. The Anker 737 only supports simultaneous input and output ONLY if the voltages are the same and the input has a greater amperage capacity than the output. for example, if you plug a 100 watt device in, and then a 60 watt charger, even if the 100 watt device is only drawing 15 watts, the 737 will not charge. The Cuktech behaves as the Aukey/Amegat/Powdeom/Euker, but a little less efficiently. I own all three.

I got a Intralock case for my iPhone 14 Pro Max. The case developed a warp around the buttons in six months. They replaced it, and the replacement developed the same problem. They refused to acknowledge it is a flaw in the product range and refused to replace it. Not like I've would wanted another one just to have the same problem in six months, but still terrible customer service.

Did you happen to know the weights of the power banks? I want the largest one, but I'm not sure if it's too heavy.

TO THE AUTHOR. I feel you left out one very important subject in your entire review. What kind of cable are you using? The supplied cable maxed out at 25 watt output. If you are using high speed cables won’t your iPhone charge rating be completely different? Correct me if im wrong . I just bought the 27650mah. Now i need to buy a 140 watt charger with 2 usbc ports and high speed cables

If you are using 737 for steamdeck. You can only use 1 full charge steam deck with a remaining 21-26% pbank capacity. Dont get fooled by mah.

In my Opinion, the best Upgrade they made from 737 to Prime27k was the feature to be able to configure the USB-C Port to be Input only, Output only, or automatic. If you dont need that or the docking port or the rediculus 250w dual port output power, than the 737 is perfectly fine

I have both. Bose sound incredible and noise cancelling is exceptional. Apple’s sound really nice, fit nicely but don’t compare to the Bose. Just buy both! Couldn’t care less about calls, I have headphones to listen to music!

I came to the same conclusion after comparing the various models. It depends as well on what you need a powerbank for, of course. But the 737 is on offer these days. And considering that it is only 2/3 of the large Prime model, it was the logical choice to me. Thanks for your tests!

If your like me use no case on the phone but wondering if u should get a otter box I’d say yes it’s great makes the phone feel bigger and also the rubber prices I usally rip those off bc I find it annoying to keep opening em some ppl think other wise Hope this help some my no case users
