l tried 12cm squares which made a box about 4.5 cm square, l used white card for the bottom box which give it abit more strength and a pretty coloured paper for top box, it came out a nice size for a ring or stud earrings, thanks for your tips with the ribbon it came out lovely, an with the satisfaction l made it myself

I did the 2 halves, but when it comes to the closing of the ball, it cant' happen without everything reopening. I might try to add another lenght but each halves took me half an hour to fold :'(
