I did an exhaust mod to the pipe , I cut off the portion where it had the 2 grooves for 2 O rings , that wasn't sealing properly so i welded on my own pipe and secured it with an exhaust clamp , the result was way more power because there was no more exhaust leak . this rig also got a full red arrow extended arm kit and i put my own stainless steel fuel tank mounted on the side . car seems to r...

took my dad along with me to get him out of the house so he can see something different and de stress in this video i have the new chrome pipes installed and testing out the one piece layshaft from alx . nothing broke but had to cut it short , discovered i need bigger o rings in the fuel caps so will buy those now .

im testing out a few things here . Motor is ALX 100CC TWIN , the rear BRP tyres i have glued on gokart MG YELLOW rubber to the brp tyre for better longevity and grip . the entire gearbox has been rebuilt with all new parts , irc diff with 2million silicone fluid , brand new taylor rc gear box and blackbone gears , new alluminum cage was made .

dont know what happened in the end . maybe layshaft gear pin broke or the 4 bolts on the diff locker main ring gear has loosened out preventing it from turning .

Did you prime the fuel at all?
It has a choke lever to prime. If it was started prior to the start of video it probably was already primed . There's no primer bulbs on these carbs.
@@silverssonyoutube8438 do you know what the default settings are for the carbs regarding the L and H needles. Did you tune both carbs with the same needle settings?
Can't get mine started. Hard to tune. Need the fuel bulbs.
What do you have? An alx twin 80cc or the twin 100cc

@HarleyInArms you'll have to ask obr for advice. Don't know what sort of carbs they use . On my old 57cc twin I only used walbro 813 carbs. If you don't have the balance of both carbs dialed in it will be extremely hard to start .

I no this video is old but is that exhaust powder coated or something. Looks so nice
It's not powder coated . It was a paint called metalcast , there was a silver base coat amd then a red candy that sprayed ontop . It had some heat resistance to 550 but eventually with repeated excessive heat it would begin to change color , also the paint wasn't very good It could chip easily and would get sticky when hot.
I can't find any hp number of this ? Just for curiosity how much is estimated?
No one ever posts hp numbers for rc, I don't know what the reason is . But I've seen mentioned in general bigbore motors for rc like this can produce about 20hp or more

i make the cage myself from solid round bar alluminum , the team chase cage is too small for it for my liking although that would fit too but its plastic

It might need some adjustment and I've noted it to alx and he did tell me it's normal for this type of engine even though it might sound a tad high.
