2002 Ford windstar part 2 of the tune up. This is with new plug wires to add to the new oem plugs, new air filter, fuel filter, pcv valve, intake manifold plenum gaskets (the big o ring gasket, bolt grommets, port gaskets. Fresh oil& motorcraft filter, I double checked the firing order as well as doing 1 plug wire at a time. Can't get the code reader to work, the obd2 port is getting power.

Stock Y Pipe, cat deleted, used flowmaster 40 series 2.5'' in/out. Power feels about the same as stock exhaust or open Y-Pipe, dyno may show a gain or loss based on the setup but its no measurable in the driver seat. The sound is to my liking, I still have some light popping during decel, mild tone under 3500 and under 50% throttle, wot over 3500 gets loud again.

I have 2003 and a 2006 durango and a few other cars, but I love the Durangos. but you need to do proper maintenance, can't neglect any car. $hit happens if you don't. it is a shame that this happened.

DID anyone check the linkage on the intake mainfold by the alternator? there is a plenum valve there and thje little clip keeps breaking for me and cuases the motoer to run crappy .

Try the fuel sensor and oxygen sensor next if you replaced ignition coil spark wires and fuel filter
Wrong it was the lower intake manifold gasket.
