Should I go to this park or another in your opinion? Go to one park every summer live in NY. Been to cedar point, six flags great adventure, Hershey, bush gardens Williamsburg. Kings dominion, favorites are 305, maverick, kinda ka, sky rush, storm chaser, steel vengeance… etc.

My prediction is that Six Flags St Louis will be closed down by 2030. The park is a joke. They can’t get help; it’s the same ole rides. In order to revamp this park they need to multiple attractions in one year. They could redo the old time cars; but also redo the boss. They could upgrade The Ninja but they need to expand the park and add several new aggressive rollercoasters to the mix. Six Flags STL needs a wing coaster; a dive roller coaster and they need something like Millennium Force. You can drive 4 hours to KC or 4 hours to Branson and get a better amusement park experience. Drive 6 hours and you can get to Six Flags Great America which is much much better.

The woodstock express was not called ghoster coaster. That was a different ride entirely that is no longer standing.

Six Flags New England is an odd duck--it's the only large amusement park in the region, with no real competition, and its top two are the best roller coasters in New England; but considered as a park, it's inferior to the smaller parks in the region. It's got a bit of old-school ambiance left over from its past identity as Riverside Park, in the front area, but the Six Flags-ification of the rest of it is evident. Wicked Cyclone and Superman are amazing, world-class rides, and Batman and Thunderbolt are solid, underrated supporting rides; but, yeah, it drops off rapidly from there. I am not that bothered by Superman's restraints, which most coaster enthusiasts seem to really hate. Blizzard River is well-themed (I think it was originally supposed to have a vaguely Gotham City vibe, like so many of the park's rides, with some kind of association with the Penguin) but I found it kind of disappointing, tame as these rides go. It needs more large family rides to attract the family clientele they supposedly want. Quantum Accelerator is a step in the right direction. A Mine Train-level coaster and any major dark ride would help. Some old-school family rides--a Ferris wheel, a skyride. Anything like that. They do have a good old carousel. The landscaping needs major upgrades from the Six Flags parking lot aesthetic of much of it. The waterpark is surprisingly big and good. It's advertised as the biggest waterpark in the region, and it might be--Hurricane Harbor alone is about the same size as Water Country in Portsmouth, NH. I particularly like the lazy river and the family raft slide, Swiss Family Toboggan. There hasn't been anything new in a while there, though.

yesterday I went to an amusement park with my friends and before we went to Hershey Park and did not ride a single ride I was so ashamed of myself but yesterday we went to NJ Six Flags great adventure and I went on King da Ka I was so scared I actually threw up before getting on I was shaking. but something told me to just strap in and that 128 mph launch was the best thing I ever did in my life when I was coming down the drop I felt like nothing could stop me and after that, I rode almost every single ride major big ride in the park and now I am addicted to roller coasters and can't wait till my next trip to who anyone that scared just do it, bro, I promise you you won't regret it edit: ride el toro please you feel like your out of your seat the whole time my fav ride

FoF being that low, I must not experience it the same, it’s the only ride in the park that doesn’t give me any motion sickness or pain. It’s like a refresher ride for me, definitely up there in my favs.

banshee ride op here, the rattle on the ride is more based on which train you get. Blue train is the smoothest and best train, whilst purple is middling and teal has the most rattle. However recently maintenance has done some work and now all of our trains are good! (also mystic is my favorite ride in the park and in you ride in the back you do get some great floater over that hill, but I could see why you chose as there are no bad elements LOL)

One coaster ain’t changing nothing

I am never going on that ride again! Because when I first rode on it, the drop at the end really freaked me out!

I went there first time last week. The chipotle like place and the New Orleans style food was good. I did not like the pizza. My FIL liked Potato Works

On Diamondback, try the middle, 8th car i think. Then keep your gut pushed out and kinda lean back so that when they push your lap restraint in place, you will be allowing yourself about 6 inches of space. This is important. On the first hill, you literally will freefall down it. Your butt wont be on the seat, your abdomen wont be touching the bar, you will not be touching anything until your butt settles back into the seat at the bottom. If you need to, go ahead and push the bar down a little at that point but you dont need to. Took us two years to figure that spot and trick out. Happy riding. I remember the joy of KI releasing a working model of Diamondback at the end of the season prior to it being built and it was as if God answered our prayer. All K I needed was at least one tall coaster...and boom it exploded ftom there.

I personally think most of the rides at kings island are near perfect for what they are, and my only complaints are the restraints on some, like banshee. I cant ride banshee as much as I want to since im very tall and the rubber shoulder pads dig into my shoulders causing a decent amount of pain.

I'm 47 tears old. When I was little I lived in Franklin MA, and My Father's Parents lived in Agawam. (Actually My Grandfather Still does. He's still kicking) My Sister and I would spend a week at their house during the summer and we'd always spend a day at Park before it became Six Flags. It used to be Riverside Park.

Best value coasters as far as enjoyment to wait time; Blue Streak (tosses you out of the seat on every hill, slower boarding times) Raptor (still a badass ride in 2024) Gatekeeper (smooth, fun, short waits) Rougarou (layout run is like a crazy mesh of snakey coils, even less of a line here). Gemini is fun if both trains are running because you can ham it up with people in the opposing train. Not really worth it if only one train is running. Ride Magnum if you wanna haul ass like Millenium but not nearly as fast and substantially bumpier.

Corkscrew seats are hard, unergonomic plastic and it will batter you. Better be either youthful or resilient if you want to ride it

On April 29th, 1972, an amusement park was born in Southwestern Ohio. Little did we know at the time, how much of a success Kings Island would become over the years. When the park first opened its gates to the public, it quickly became a major destination for thrillseekers that visited Cincinnati. Especially when the Racer was its main attraction, as well as the fact that The Brady Bunch visited and filmed an episode at the park five days in August of that year. And now fast forward to 2024, it turns out to be no surprise that Kings Island is one of the most successful regional parks in America. They offer a great coaster collection, an impressive kids' area, lots of attractions for everyone, this is a great park! So, with that thought in mind, how would I improve Kings Island and what would I add to the park in the next few years? Well, that's what we're gonna find out.

I live in Springfield, just across the Connecticut River from Six Flags, haven't been back to six flags since 1999, waited in line for 3 hour's in the rain for superman and still didn't get on it as I gave up and went home. Will never go back.

To be fair the pandemonium isnt a clone it was the first then gerstlauer started cloning it, which is why it actually uses the terrain

Besides storm runner and Laff Trakk, this is probably one of the more relatable coaster ratings of Hershey park. Never liked storm runner, just a crappy version of pantheon. Never been on Laff Trakk
