This was a hot lap in the old Birel R30cy with a 21hp EK100cc engine. Love the sound of these things. Track surface was very grippy and bumpy. You can hear the camera moving ALOT in the case. First time in a DD2 at Jax Kart complex in Jacksonville FL. Rear tires were completely used up as you can see how much im trying to counter steer every corner. Also gearing was too long and the variable exhaust valve was stuck open. Re-purpose, re-use, up-cycle! Dont pass up the opportunity to upgrade your easykart 125cc exhaust header by using an early generation header from an X30. Going "Green" again with this TRAK solution. Find a local automotive exhaust shop and scavenge their scrap pile for some 2" inch tubing pieces. Cut them into various lengths to tune your exhaust system. In general a shorter exhaust will move the power curve to a higher RPM band. A longer exhaust has the opposite effect. I was looking for videos to learn the line and I watched this one many times. Only to find out that the track now goes the opposite direction.
Does the easy kart have a 40mm axle?
yes but some also have 30mm axles
@@TRAKsportsTV mine has a 40mm as well. It's a 1999/2000 easy kart.
Im trying to get some data on how this compares to an LO206.

@@fortressofsoliddudes4597 Theres very little room for error because of it. You almost have to attempt to pass the guy whos making a pass to gain a spot. The coolest part though is everyone driving in the league has been more respectful than i've seen anywhere in a long time. Who knows if it will last but for now it makes it fun even if you finish in the back.

@@Buddybryan3Just went today and I did not expect it to be that hard to drive. It felt like wrestling a bear to me. I had never raced the new karts before so it was completely new to me. I love this location though.
Awesome kart👌 they ride nice! Would you happen to know what brand brakes or where I can locate some pads and rebuild kits ? My rear caliper is starting to leak😢
I had to frankenstein and work some magic to fix my braking system lol. There is no off the shelf solution man sorry.
