Grilled Tomahawk Ribeye Steak Recipe
Whether you call it a Caveman, Cowboy, or Tomahawk; this ribeye steak is the King. Weighing in at well over 3lbs, it’s one “Hoss” of a steak.
If you’re going to shell out the money for a prime cut like this you want to be sure to know how to cook it right.
For this recipe I fire up my Blackstone grill on the low setting and let it get hot.
Prep overnight, or at least an hour before cooking, by dry-brining with kosher salt.
Add some oil and then season the steak with a good dose of Black Pepper, and Garlic; I use my Little’s Gravel Seasoning but you can actually use this seasoning for the dry-brine instead of adding on before the cook. That will allow the steak to get a deep black pepper and garlic taste all the way through the meat.
Patience is key during the cooking process. Flip the steak every 30 second for the first few flips and the. Every minute after that. Once your steak as reached about 110 degrees, turn the grill all the way up to start getting a good sear. Use the culinary torch to cook around the bone. Pull the steak off 5-10 degrees below your desired finished temp.
Carefully take the tomahawk off the grill and place it in aluminum foil and add some butter and rosemary. Wrap up the steak and let it rest for 5 minutes before you cut the steak.
A steak like this is great served right on the cutting board. Cut the bone off and simply slice it into desired pieces against the grain. And don’t forget to gnaw on that bone…That’s where the best flavor is!!

Air Fryer Lollipop 🍭 Chicken Drumsticks An original recipe using ingredients from our small business😊 Ingredients: 5-10 Chicken Legs Urban Spice Seasoning(to taste) Purchase Ingredients: (Link On Page) 🔸Cut chicken legs near the end of the bone, pulling the skin off the bone. 🔸Make sure to cut any excess tendons or meat. This is for display only, you don’t have to do this step. 🔸Cut flat along the meat portion so that your chicken can stand “upside down” while cooking. 🔸Coat well under, and on, the skin with Little’s Urban Spice Seasoning. We have now divided Urban Spice into two seasonings. Want an amazing seasoning with the perfect amount of salt? Use Urban Spice Seasoning. Want to control the salt levels? Have the same great flavor with Urban Spice NO SALT. 🔸Place in your air fryer at 400° F for 20-25 minutes. 🔸Make sure to temp your chicken. You want each piece to reach 165° F internal temp. 🔸Eat and enjoy! #cookingathome #originalrecipe #smallbusiness
Just about threw my phone away when it looked like he was removing the skin. Its a cardinal sin of the highest culinary order to remove the skin
😂😂😂 you’re safe here!

Make sure to peel back the skin to get seasoning under the skin and onto the meat. 🔸Place in your smoker at 250° F for 2-3 hours. Based halfway through with an oil and Gravel Mix mixture. 🔸Make sure to temp your chicken. You want each piece to reach 165° F at multiple points. 🔸Eat and enjoy! #cookingathome #originalrecipe #smallbusiness
I'd rather in the conventional oven, bake my chicken! That bone is still red dude!😮🎉😮🎉😂🎉
I’ll make sure to share a conventional oven recipe, as well! As far as the bone color, the USDA explains that even fully cooked poultry can sometimes show a pinkish tinge in the meat and juices. Plus the bone marrow itself has a pink pigment that doesn’t always go away when cooked. You won’t see this when you cook chicken legs, because the bone is already cut and exposed to cooking, but break a bone open and you will see. This is mainly seen when cooking leg quarters because you cut through the bone to separate leg and thigh. Hope this helps!
Y’all are blind. It’s definitely cooked. That’s dark meat not white meat. It’s supposed to look that way.
Looks good dawg ✊🏽
Looks partially cooked 😢
@@SharonDelores-sn8vb it’s not, it’s just very juicy and tender 🙂. Both pieces were temped at over 165° at multiple points.
I do not recommend this chicken sorry bro
That's NOT COOKED !
@@jasonengland8396 temped above 165° at multiple points on both pieces. It was 100% cooked, but also 100% tender and juicy.

If you need a thermometer for chicken fingers, go back to sewing
I always temp the large ones when cooking along side much smaller ones. When you have very small ones and thicker ones, you cook based on the small ones and then temp the larger ones. This allows all of your tenders to have consistent texture and juiciness. The more you know 🙂
Tell me you have kids without telling me you have kids! I know that bowl from a mile away 😂
😂😂 oops
All-Sauce Smoked Chicken Tenders We asked on Instagram what recipes you’d like to see. You can also use Little’s The Hot Mix for a spicier version. 🔸Place on the smoker at 220° Fahrenheit for 30 minutes. 🔸After 30 minutes, take the tenders off the smoker and turn the smoker to 470° or higher. Once your smoker has reached temp, sear the chicken tenders on each side for 1 minute. 🔸Once each tender has temped at 160-165° take off the smoker and let rest for 5 minutes. 🔸Eat and enjoy by dipping in All-Sauce! #cookingathome #originalrecipe #smallbusiness

Meat-zzarella Sticks An original recipe using ingredients from our small business😊 Ingredients: 2lbs Ground Beef 1/4 Cup 1 Tbsp Little’s The Mix 12 Cheese Sticks 1/2 Cup Flour 4 Large Eggs 2 Cups Panko Bread Crumbs 1/2 Tbsp Little’s Urban Spice 🔸In a bowl, combine a 1/4 cup of The Mix with 2lbs of ground beef. 🔸Form the beef into cheese-stick-sized portions. Tightly wrap the beef around the cheese stick of your choice. You can use any kind of cheese stick you prefer. 🔸In a pan, brown up the meat-wrapped cheese sticks to add a sear and flavor. Be careful with this step, if the meat isn’t wrapped nicely around the cheese stick, the meat will separate at the seam. 🔸In 3 separate containers add the flour, eggs and panko bread crumbs. Add a tablespoon of The Mix and a half a tablespoon of Little’s Urban Spice to the panko bread crumbs. 🔸Roll the seared meat sticks into the flour, then the eggs and then into the panko bread crumbs. 🔸Deep fry at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 90 seconds or until your preferred doneness. 🔸Eat and enjoy! Best if served with marinara sauce! #cookingathome #originalrecipe #smallbusiness
