Seeds for the birds and nuts for the local squirrels. Love watching this one in particular as they'll get them out of the feeder, eat some and then bury them in our pot plants/lawn. When they're more comfortable would love to set up sone more obstacles.

I was listening to the music from this video and there was no mention of the band but if you check out a 1980's band named 'Dokken', they had an album called "Under Lock and Key_ and on that album was a song called "It's not Love". The music in your video, sounds exactly like the opening portion of the song by Dokken. Too bad that you didn't use 'Lovin' You' by Minnie Rioerton because Pebble is VERY Loveable !!🩷💕🐢

I have a russian tortoise
Unfortunately a large portion those plants are not gonna last very long, but that being said they’re made for the tortoise to destroy so it don’t matter much
What kind of tortoise is it, and how large will it be full grown…..
It's a Russian Tortoise, also known as a Horsfield Tortoise. I'm not sure how big they get but the females are bigger than the males when fully grown. In this video Pebble is still a baby; so at this point, you can't determine yet if it's a he or a she.

Remember when we were young, how WE hated bath time? Now as adults, we wish we could just lounge in the tub for hours ? I laughed my head off, seeing how angry she looked. I'm sure as she gets bigger and older, she'll come to enjoy it, as most tortoises do 😂🤗😄

Beautiful Horsfield Tortoise. They are my favourite, i own Horsfields, Spur-thighed, Hermanns and a Leopard Tortoise 🙂
Are there any plans to get a second tortoise ? I was told that they are social animals and love being around other tortoises. Peeble might love a room-mate.
Nope not getting another, tortoises shouldn’t be kept in groups/pairs. They might get on when small but as they mature they tend to fight. Plus since they cannot be accurately sexed until 5ish yrs you may end up with a male & female which wouldn’t be ideal. Pebble lives in our living room next to my daughter desk so gets lots of company throughout the day :)

Tortoise don't need company. In fact getting a second one doesn't always work out. 2 males can fight.. one male and one female will lead the female to be constantly harrassed.
