Today we install our new Hybrid Racing Short Shifter into the DC5. The Shifter Assembly is fitment for CL9/TSX, as we are using a CL9/TSX 6 SPD Transmission with an aftermarket LSD. When upgrading the shifter, it's necessary to upgrade the shifter cables as the stock cables will eventually tear under the additional force of the short shifter. Just a quick video on replacing the VTEC solenoid for on my K24A3. The method will be the same for all K series variants. We had the motor out, so I thought it was best to replace it with a new solenoid before it eventually fails or leaks.
