The best I've ever seen it is. 👍
Cards have won 11 World Series. Former Expos fan here. Loved it when the Cards came to town. Great, exciting baseball. Cards of the late 70s (79, 80) had a devastating offense! Hernandez, Simmons, Hendrick, Templeton...
Home run is needed but overrated as a strategy
This was a time in sports that whoever had the most sober players won-NBA, MBL, don’t even get me started about the NFL
These are great! Thanks for sharing! Laclede gas…😂
The Western flick is awesome partner! 🤠
Looking forward to the next video! You are doing a fantastic job, thanks for the content.
Looks like a boring show until Robert Conrad starts undressing then 🤪😋🤤
Look at this, information that is understandable and makes me think. It is a more realistic and empathetic way of looking at a complex history from the view of many cultures involved. More, please?
6:06 "the girls fainted at a rate of 1 a minute"...stated like that, the numbers could be anywhere from as few as 2, to as many as 2 hundred, maybe more! Who knows? Let's hope those girls all turned out okay afterward.
Interesting to hear John Kelly’s voice when he was young. He was only 29 when this was aired.
1st season of NCAA Men's basketball of 3 point line.
I remember going to Louisville Redbird games to catch Vince Coleman, Andy VanSlyke, Willie McGee before they were called up. The minor & major league team was awesome!
I'm from Louisville & we we're the minor league farm team of the Cardinals (Louisville Redbirds). I was just a kid watching these games with my grandaddy. It was exciting time. St. Louis had the best farm system in the majors at the time.
Fr Groeschel, you are missed. It is great to have his lessons for years to come.
That’s the pool I learned how to swim in. My father was best friends with Don all their lives.
we are not very good stewards. Google map 323 N 8th St, St. Louis, Missouri and see the boarded up windows on the beautiful skyscraper.
Harry Caray should never have left the Cardinals but it was some confrontation with the Busch family.
I was an extra in this movie! Spent a few weeks at the ice rink. Good times!
He spawned a seed 666 times as corrupt as he was.... Her name is Tiffany Henyard and she was unleashed on a small unassuming village almost 300 miles to the north named Dolton, Illinois.
Virtually no emotions huh lol
Does anyone know if Joe Pate is still around? I worked with him for 4 years and then left Indy in 1981.
What an awesome presentation. Thanks for showing it to us.
I used to think the moon landing was the biggest hoax, but claiming they built all that in 3 years on horses and wagons takes the cake
Satan!

Unfortunately, now it’s just a shit hole full of violent crime.
One of the Best Documentary’s On the Old West, Starting at the Actual Ghost Town of Bodie California, and Narrated by Richard Boone, TV’s Paladin and Hec Ramsay!!!
Re: 20:49..while ABQ isn’t all that great, you couldn’t pay me to live in St. Louis; hot and sticky, and it features neighborhoods that you wouldn’t dare venture into after dusk.
Fantastic! A must-watch for anyone who loves St. Louis. The photography in the Eads Bridge sequence was especially fine, particularly at the end.
Excellent vid
What an exciting team they were, all orchestrated by the White Rat. They remind me of the Rams Greatest Show on Turf of 1999-2000. Pure speed, pitching and defense. And one forgets how brilliant Jack Buck was behind the mic, until you hear him again here on this captivating video! Beautifully done!!
'85' Cards were fcked out of the World Series because of a BS ump call!!!!!!
Intro for "All The World's A Stooge" 3 Stooges 'short'.
Learn something new everyday, St. Louis for the win!
I was wondering where were all the African Americans? Why didn't I see ANY BLACK PEOPLE! That creeps me out & pisses me off!
seence then i love Tomatoes 🍅🍅🍅🤣🤣
OH NO! 😮 16:33
My grandmother was born in 1903 in s st Louis county.
The year Indiana would win the national championchip while it would be another 37 years for Purdue would to a final 4.
So great to see this again...first watched in 1985, then seven years later, taped it off one channel, foolishly erased it...waited 30 years to see it again!
31:07 Here is is folks. Brace yourselves for some good old-fashioned racism.
Because she took an interest in another culture? Imagine what our PC police would be saying today had devolving nations of that time had not been represented: “All people of color were excluded from exhibiting at the Fair!” Just can’t win with you people.🙄
The use of panning and zoom on the pictures is the original Ken Burns effect.
I find it hard to believe this was built in 3 years.
When people didn’t have shit 2 do
@John-nf7ug except grow food ,and other stuff I imagine. But yeah I'm sure people just sat around doing nothing 🙄
I don’t think could be built in 10 years time today. So much for progress…
@@odaydrums people didn’t sit around doing nothing but the masses at the time would most likely have to choice between hard labour or going hungry. More people willing to do labour work back then especially when their more motivated as well due to less access to information at the time.
Interesting to see that Bob Guccione produced this show. What a stark contrast!!
