I think this is the best boating channel for real, everyday boaters. Those Haulover boats are great and the coverage is great but I like watching real world boats. Not boats that my house would only cover the down payment towards. I’m a real world boater and my boat went for over $200k new which I could never afford so I bought a few year old used one for around $80k and that was a ton of money for me. Those $700k, $800k, $1.3M boats are beautiful but only a dream for someone like me. I Ike seeing boats maybe some day I can upgrade to or folks with similar everyday boats like mine used by every day families like myself. I like this channel much better for these reasons. 😊

So now there’s a channel to watch boats at Jupiter inlet too? 😂

Nice video and thanks for taking the time to do it...the fellow with the 23 sf that had the e-tec mentioned he had a 23 sceptre with a cuddy cabin prior...then you showed a 20 sceptre which was incorrect as they do not have a cuddy cabin...just an FYI...

Good video and gracious Seacraft boat owners. It is always a bit stressful at the ramp and especially on a fully loaded Bahamas trip when you dont want to forget anything. I am sure they were at maximum fuel and gear/ice weights. All boats floated level. The 27 was a bit nose high leaving inlet but was going slow would like to see it at happy speed. Note they are going to West End Grand Bahamas for customs and fuel first stop.Maybe you could find more Classic Boats at the ramps to interview to get story of how the found the classic and condition and extent of rot and repair done. Rotten wood cores, holey fuel tanks, nightmare wiring, and glass work before lipstick goes on. The best is to then video interview boat on plane at cruise exiting inlet.

Hope to be able to join that group one day when I'm done with my 23 (it's been a long process). Watched both Don and Bill's builds on CSC. I only hope to come close to their builds. And that is the ramp I always put in at. I would have skipped work if I knew when and where they were gathering. Next time.

Great camera work and production quality. I do have to say that most of us watching these videos enjoy the sound of the waves more than the backing track.

Sharks get use to being fed by humans especially in the Bahamas which is one reason they attack humans occasionally.

I think the bird is an Osprey.

I absolutely love Jupiter inlet. One of the most beautiful inlets on the coast

Contender is a classic in and out vessel a little wet at times but ⏩ fast and can out run the weather ❤.

It is an un-navagable inlet. They are just finishing up dredging now- May 2024. When my father was a kid, the inlet would completely block. The locals would come together and dig a small trench which would then open it up for a while.

It's a interesting contrast between the boats at this inlet - mostly purposeful fishing boats - and those filmed going out of Haulover Inlet in the Miami area. Only 90 miles apart but, culturally, a huge distance .

Grew up in the Inlet Colony. Always maintained friendship with Coast Guard so I was able to fish off their dock. Caught some monster snook back in the 70’s before all the restrictions. Kept my boat at American Boating Center on south side of inlet right by the bridge. Good times - good memories.
