Jesus, it's like a medley of some of their greatest hits from their peak era, all killer no filler. Starting AND ending with two of my all-time favorites. Would have loved to hear "With Teeth" also from the record that could not be named but I have a feeling that I'll be re-watching this video a few times. Much thanks uploader!!

The night before this they played at a club in my city called the Millenium, which eventually became The Loop. I saw them that night and it changed my life. I 18, was front row center. Covered in sweat, brusies all over me but i loved it on a rare friday night that i didnt have to go to work the next morning. Just brilliant

I miss her

I love SY and their long and varied discography, but I would prefer to hear them play live. They approached the same song in a different way each time they played it and this was positive and allowed them to maintain creativity and improvisation. They are and will continue to be my favorite band until the end of my days. The experimental approach they took with guitars is only comparable to Jimi Hendrix... in another universe perhaps they would have met and collaborated, but Hendrix left too soon.

The first Sonic Youth song I heard was Schizophrenia. I liked it. The first song I fell in love with was Candle. I have since been a Sonic Youth fan. Murray St. Is one of my favorite albums. I named my daughter Thurston, after Thurston Moore

A bizarre song for its day that still is ridiculously fun to play. And as this excellent collaboration shows it was way ahead of its time. Now, 50 years later, Sparks is performing it on their world tour and still hitting those high notes
