It’s an objective based game based on classic COD style gameplay. This isn’t a lone wolf type game, you need to support your team. They got rid of the ridiculous mechanics from the newer games and the devs said they are planning on nerfing the bunny hopping crowd and introducing sniper flinch…both of which are MUCH needed. I am absolutely loving this style of game. I do agree they need a kill camera though.

Strengthen the aim assist, smoothen out the slide cancel and movement, fix the net code and the game is perfect, especially if they add a barebones no super powers mode.

Problem is there is no satisfaction for winning. There needs to be a battle Royale or resurgence type game play.

One reason i dont like it is i get a bunch head shots on a player and they still keep jump around while you are shooting them and they somehow kill you. Its like some enemies got some damn extra armor bullet sponges. Also the dual sense on ps5 the vibration sucks.

Hackers have already bypassed Xdefiant anti cheat. Played against a guy who was invisible no matter how many times he shot his weapon. Exactly why this game needs a mode without these trash specialist

The bottom line is, it’s not CoD dude. It’s not supposed the be CoD. I get it. We all loved CoD once, but it’s fucking terrible now, and has been for years. XDefiant is just something different is all. And it just came out…. I think their heads are at least in the right place… at least they are willing to try, and that’s a lot more than can be said about Activision. It’s brand new, let’s see what they do with it at least before writing it off.

I agree with everything you are saying bro, but when put in perspective, CoD’s kill streaks have gotten progressively more meaningless and are currently even more so. I also agree that free for all would be cool but it’s just the launch…. it’s comin homey, chill. 3rd, 100% agree that the special abilities are cheese. Although it’s an arcade shooter, and not a simulation, I am hoping for a game mode that doesn’t have the dumb specials. But considering the fact that this game is an arcade shooter, intends to be an arcade shooter and not a sim, is free and fun…. I’m cool with it! CoD is supposed to be a sim, but it has anime cheese BS, and it’s also the same expensive ass game it was 10 years ago, AND it’s not even fun…. I’ll definitely keep playing this game. I will not be playing CoD again until they get their shit right and start respecting the OGs over dumbass virgin, non-binary pregnant dudes.
