@@jagroopahluwalia Dang, I was recently promoted to FSgt during my annual parade, which was around 2 weeks ago. I wish you luck in your path to promotion!
@@James-Paul I GOT PROMOTED TO FSGT TODAY!!!!
@@jagroopahluwalia 🎉 Congratulations! 🎉
For anyone wondering how they can get one, it’s really, really, really hard, they stopped making these kinds and if you wanna get one you’ll have to get it from someone who has one who is willing to sell/lend it to you, but they are still making the daisy 953 which is almost the exact same except it’s black, and a bit more technical details, if your looking for a rifle to practice with for cadets or just in general I would really recommend the 953, it’s the 853 and it looks good, almost nothing different, even I can’t tel the difference between them other than the Colors when I use them.
the CMP sells surplus 853s for $125 +shipping in 2022. they sell new models for $210+
Who is watching cause they wanna be an astronaut. ME!
u can Fastrack to flight corporal.
this is a lot different to our cadet rank syllabus here in the UK, our ranks go Cadet, Corporal, Sergeant, Flight Sergeant and then Cadet Warrant Officer
what is my job as a cadet corporal in the squadron? What do l do? what is my main job?
Well, you don't have a "job" exactly, but you'd be expected to know how to act responsibly and to "act your part". you'd be expected to be a role model for the younger cadets. That means referring to ranks, doing small tasks and sqn chores when you can, not fooling around, respecting everyone, not speaking vulgar-language during cadet-activities, etc. I know you're probably a Sgt by now, but yeah.
You may also be given other tasks such as being NCOIC or 2IC or activities, making phone calls and doing fitness tests (as mentioned by Victor Huang), etc.
I'm in British Air cadets and just got promoted to corperal
Mr. Martire I am 14 years old what rank would I start at If I was to join now
John-Paul Teatero a cadet
John-Paul Teatero ac but maybe get fcpl by the end of your 2nd yr of cadets(Level 3) becoause of the fasttrack system
Hahaa squad 52 for lifee
Do u know wo2 chow
@@edricwoe1480 Why do you ask ?
I have 2 questions If you do well as lets just say a corporal do you still have to wait a certain amount of time or no 2nd: if your uniform is really good throughout your cadet experience does it help with promotions or no
It doesn’t mean shit
Dj18 minimum of 6 months are required but uniform helps a lot
1. It doesn't matter how you act. You gotta go through the standard time period before promotion. 2. Yes, it helps quite a bit. As a cadet, you should always make sure your uniform, stance, drill, etc are on point.
A little late sorry but as a current flag party member having your uniform being really good makes a big difference especially if you want to be a senior or you are a senior
how to become a colonel in the CAF?
when I think of LAC I think loser air Cadet idk why
what is the requirements of being a colonel?
L LOVE IT
Hello, a air cadet from Canada
What is the ranks after the warrant officer first class?
tintin wu wo1 is the highest rank as a non commissioned officer and known as the chief but there are co ranks where they are paid
WO1 is the Highest rank in the Canadian Air Cadet program. There are no higher ranks.
How do I see my shoulder flash
on the outside
Category: Howto and Style
I'm in the 604 Moose Royal Canadian Air Cadet.
Rock Lee 538 Buffalo comrade
Hey! I have a question when they give you the uniform how you put he shoulders flash in the uniform ?
I'm a corporal and I should be a sergeant if I joined when I was 12
also a corporal
What rank can go to the cadets camp, and which ranks go on abroad trips?
all ranks and all levels
I know this is a realllyyy old vid but my friend is thinking of joining and had a question. Are they really mean or strict but friendly
Zmioski Wolf both
Really depends on the Seniors in the squadron. You can have Instructors who're really strict, and you can have Instructors who're really friendly. Sometimes both. But again, that depends on the seniors who're currently in the squadron.
Wasn't like this in the 80's. An immediate promotion to Cpl? No such thing as a Flight Cpl. I made it to SGT and left because I needed longer hair for my rock band. 618 Sqd Toronto.
im in 211
hold on... do you get to keep your rank, if you join the real air force for canada?
no, think about it if you join the rcaf and you were a wo1 you would be basically a very young wo1 and everyone else your rank would be ( I think) 10 years older then you and you'd be commanding other ppl in the rcaf that has been there for years and you just joined, do you think thats fair??
@@vincentngo9186 Furthermore, the RCAF doesn't even have FCpl, FSgt, WO2, or WO1. The cadet ranks and military ranks are not exactly interchangeable.
@@Canadian-Asian-dude They have the equivalent of those ranks in the RCAF which are also used in Army Cadets. (MCpl, WO, MWO, CWO)
@@thisrandomboy999 Well yes. The Air Cadets has equivalents of RCAF ranks, but at the end of the day, we still don’t have the same ranks. Unlike as you mentioned, the Army Cadets has almost the same NCM ranks of the Army and Air Force, with minor differences of the second rank. RCAF has Aviator (trained), and the Army has Private (trained) or whatever regimental equivalent.

I've only been in for 9 months and I'm a corporal, granted I joined late. But honestly I liked this video. I'm going to send it to my sister. Thank you.
Fun fact. My squadron had 2 WO1 for a month and than the older one aged out
ottawa kiwanis eh im cornwall kiwanis

I'm a LT
Hi, l am a air cadet In Canada Cadet corporal
Ya I did to but we only have like 12 people in my core

For our ACR, we had the chief of reserves and cadets as our reviewing officer!
Hello ,What can you do to be the the flight dep. in your squadron and then in you're flight you are the only cadets who's higher ranks then the other cadet like me I'm flight corporal but I wanna be the flight dep in my flight because is fun and I'm the highest rank in my flight ? And then in my flight there's a cadet who's in level 3 with me but she's corporal and I'm flight corporal so I need to be the flight dep in my squadron

Hello from an AirCadet in Scotland!!
Is air cadets good thinking of joining up soon
+Derp “derb009” MVG I suggest it. You get to shoot, fly planes and do so much cool military stuff. are u Canadian or British?
+david clark british :3 warwickshire what about fitness and such?
fitness doesn't matter pal. I'm Scottish lol
+david clark thank goodness I'm not the fittest XD how'd discipline ?
isn't period the number of seconds per cycle?
In my squadron (570) they recently promoted many cadets to LAC then to Corporal in one night. They were only in for 5 months.
will there not really supposed to
if they were older, then it might be fine
I like the wii music.
Joining the Air Cadets next year I honestly can't wait I'm super excited!
I was in it for a year about 2 years back and I hope you have a good time because my year there was quit boring. I'm not saying Air Cadets is boring, just my experience.
thank you :)
I was about to register but then it was full, sadly I have to sign up again if I'm able to go there in September 2016...
I LOVE the Daisy 853c, I'm a Royal Canadian Air Cadet
Excellent video. Good job on this little gem, Daisy 853.
Really appreciate this breakdown video, simple, informative, and easy to understand. Any time you feel like whipping any more of these up, that would be HUGELY appreciated ;)
The squadron doesn't have to be over 30 cadets to have a WO1 because my squadron is small and we have a WO1.. I'm currently a WO2.
@Victor Huang No, unfortunately.
the lowest rank at summer camps is not F/Cpl it is Sergent
You would be incorrect with that statement. FCpl is indeed the lowest rank that a staff cadet can hold at a CSTC. If you have Facebook, you can scroll through the photos of almost any CSTC and you will see FCpls working various positions as staff cadets.
Yes maybe as OJT's but not as payed staff cadets
yes as paid staff cadets
Hello, You can start to fly gliders when you have met the requirements to be accepted into the Glider Pilot Scholarship summer course. There is no specific rank you need, but you need to complete level 3, grade 9, write a narrative, pass an entrance exam, have good school marks and be recommended by your CO.
You don't need to be smart...
+최윤석 Well they won't let you flight the glider unless your a bit smart, un wise people don't get to go fly gliders even though their pass 16+ or high ranking air cadet officer...
+최윤석 And the thing you said is right apparently saying "smart" isn't a good thing to say.
You need to be 16 and under 6'2 in height
It has changed quite a bit.
At what rank can you start to fly the gliders?
+Matthew M you don't have to be a rank you just have to be a smart 16 year old and if your not that age you can ride in the back on one
I saw it linked from a page on Facebook.
I really appreciate your comments on this video. I couldn't agree more with your points. When I was in level one, I remember my WO1 having an immaculate uniform. He has since aged out, but I have ever since tried to live up to the standard that he has made. Now as a Sgt, I feel that I am who younger cadets look up to, so I try to continue with the knowledge. I am quite curious though - how did you come across this video? Did you just search "211 cadets" or something? - Brad
