A COMPLETE WALKING TOUR OF THE MAYAN COPAN RUINS IN 2024. Copan Ruins, Honduras.
In this video I'll take you on a complete walking tour of the Mayan Ruins. Discovered in 1570 by Diego García de Palacio, the ruins of Copán, one of the most important sites of the Mayan civilization, were not excavated until the 19th century. The ruined citadel and imposing public squares reveal the three main stages of development before the city was abandoned in the early 10th century.

I negotiate through several creek crossings on a wide trail, then I gradually gain elevation towards the waterfall. The sound of the creek will hint at the impressiveness of the falls to come. Half way into the hike the path narrows and snakes around a deepening canyon wi...

Hi Phil, may I check. Is there any public transports option to reach 5th station at 5.30am like u in this video?
You can get a public bus from the city of Kawaguchiko, i think the first bus leaves at 5AM. Thank you for watching and commenting, have a safe trip
Thanks for replying. Unfortunately my work trip hotel is in Tokyo 😅 and the Uber fee is outrageous
How safe are taking the stairs. I’m very afraid of heights but don’t want to miss going at least to the 1sy floor
I can't speak for your fear of heights but I can tell you that the stairs are very safe, it is a well built staircase. My girlfriend was against going up the stairs at first but that is because she is a little lazy but once she started doing them she was happy she did take the stairs because she got to take more pictures along the way. Thank you watching and commenting, have a safe trip

Can I take Bolt instead of the train to go to Parliament Square? Thanks
I've never heard of Bolt, so I know nothing about it, I only showed the train because it is not too expensive and it is easy to get at the airport, thank you for watching and commenting.
Thank you
Are there bears in the area? Do you carry anything bear related as a precaution?
There are bears in the area, however I've never heard a report of a bear attacking a hiker, as long as you stay on the trail you should be safe, I don't carry bear spray, thank you for watching and commenting.

What are the procedures upon exit? Has your passport been stamped?
When I was leaving, I told the UK officer I was on a long layover, I showed him my airplane ticket and he let me enter the country, he did NOT stamp my passport. For the record I have a USA passport, the passport you have the rules might be different. Thank you for watching and commenting.
Hi bro I have a 24 hour layover. Flight would land at 7 am and Next flight is 7 am next morning. Can you tell me if it possible that I leave the airport in the day and see around and then return to the airport in the night and spend my night at tge airport only . I dont want to spend extra at air bnb
Yes, you can 100% do all of that, I did NOT get a room I ended up sleeping at the airport that night waiting for my early morning flight like you are planning on doing, thank you watching.
Thanks Onething more Airport does have sleeping places? I saw lounge is only till 10.30 pm

I’m travelling to from India to US with a B1/B2 visa and have a 10h layover at Heathrow. Do I need to apply for a transit visa to step out of the airport? If no, what process do I need to follow to let the immigration officer let me step out.
I don't know the answer to your first question but I can answer the second part, If the answer is "no" then just show your next airline ticket to the immigration officer and you should be good to go, that is what I did. Thank you for watching and commenting.
This is during the low level zambezi river. This is a trickle compared to a full zambezi falling. This is the most underwhelming time to view the falls!

Im going to japan in July with a friend. We have planned to go up and down in a single day. I personally dont hike much and definitely not mountains. Do you think it is possible to reach top the top and go down. And do you think it is a smart idea?
Mount Fuji is an altitude hike since you do not have much mountain experience hiking I do not recommend it, with altitude hikes you don't want to play around with trying to hike to the top because altitude sickness is no joke it affects some people more seriously than others plus your friend may be mad at you if you have to quit during the hike and go back sick it might ruin his chance of making it to the top and affect your friendship. Thank you for watching and commenting have a great trip
Awesome stuff Phil !! Thanks for the very informative video ! It's a 6 day climb, how many days to descend. I think spending a full day i Moshi to acclimatize is probably a good idea, what do you think? Thanks...Awesome chanel !!
It takes 4 1/2 days to summit and 1 1/2 days to descend so that is how the 6 days breakdown. I like your Moshi idea, that's what I did too. I made a Moshi video too of the town if you want to see what the town is like. Thanks for watching and commenting. Safe travels
@@NeverLostRoamer Thanks man!! I did watch it. I just came back from Victoria Falls, I did watch your video on the small Victoria Falls and decided to go check it out. Pretty awesome!!👍👍👍
A 13hr 45min layover on my return flight sounds like quite the adventure! Considering going out and maybe getting an Airbnb since it will be a night layover. Not entirely sure yet, but your insightful video has definitely given me some ideas to ponder. Thanks for sharing!

why is it called the devils pool, is it because only the devils go to swim in it, black people dont do crazy stuff like that
it is called that because of the dangerous currents and undertows present in the water and the risk of falling over the edge of the waterfall. Thank you for watching and commenting.

Would you recommend me to hike it? Im going solo to japan for vacation but I will only spend 4 nights in tokyo because im going to visit another city, do you spend a a whole day or more in the hike? Not sure if its worthy to my short stay? Did you hire a guide?
I pretty much took a whole day to hike it when you consider I started at about 6am and finished about 2pm, I don't know your hiking level but I was going pretty hard at it with little breaks to make it to the top, then I took my time taking pictures seeing the top a lot more of the top than most people do. Most people do this hike in 2 days, they start later in the day and then sleep in one of the huts at the top so they can wake up before sunrise to see the sun come up. You don't need a guide to hike it because you can just follow the people going up so there is no way for you to get lost. In my first visit to Japan I didn't have enough time to hike it so in my second visit that's why I made a point to do it, so you might want to skip it for now if this is your first visit to Japan. I hope that answers your questions.
@@NeverLostRoamer I'm going in October so it would be off season according to my search so I might need a guide, I have hiked mountains higher than this one like the Iztaccihuatl here in my country, thanks for your response! I will have to really think it through because I love hiking haha and I might not have another opportunity to visit Japan in my lifetime
stay safe and good luck. mt fuji is my first and last mountain. i have a heart condition and my knees have a long term injury. its a bucket list item. but i did a bullet climb at night in july 2019. i didnt reach the peak because it was under maintenance (the path had a rock slide). so i turned back down the yoshida trail between 8th and 8.5th station. it was raining heavily the whole night so i had a touch of hypothermia (cant feel my face or toes) this year im going back (mid july). ascending gotemba trail, descending from 6th station to visit Hoiezan, going back up to 8th station, resting at the hut until after midnight, continuing up to the summit for sunrise and descending the Subashiri trail. the idea is subashiri top segment is shared with Yoshida, so doing this will allow me to do all 3 paths. normally, people would do Subashiri for the ascend and descend Gotemba but due to the restrictions implemented this year, i fear the subashiri route might be congested or cut off. Most popular to least popular trails yoshida > Fujinomiya/Subashiri > Gotemba. i am choosing to ascend just after Marine Day (holiday in japan) and i wanted to get 360 videos/photos of the ascent route for gotemba (google street view only has the descent route)
This video was exactly what i was looking for
Thank you so much for watching and commenting, have a great hike.
