That is a great question in the event of crushing ore if the ore that you are crushing contains very large specimens I would definitely suggest doing a different method than pulverizing with a machine but if you're just doing it for the recovery of the gold anything works.. in my situation because I only have a handheld that's my way of crushing the ore

@@ProspectorCever I see. I guess this lets you watch it closer for larger pieces of gold

@kano5307 doing it this way gives you an idea of the or you're collecting so you know what you can expect to get from it if you're doing it on a large scale

Yeah I was able to recover a little bit of gold still haven't crushed that rock up yet but I feel pretty confident there will be a little bit of gold in it for how small the rock is its really heavy

Yes sur..if you can't find much on the bank look in the water its untouched from now time miners and is loaded with good gold just a bit harder to work

I did do a bunch of crevices unfortunately I didn't come up with a lot of gold that day so I didn't even bother doing a total but I did come across some good chords that look like it was burying some good gold I did a crush test on it only found a couple of specs in it next video will be better though

Yeah I'd like to get more down inside of these places but they look really sketchy some of them are halfway collapsed others have big boulders hanging out of the roof

@@ProspectorCever Here’s my philosophy on these; they’ve withstood over 100yrs of fires, earthquakes, storms etc. Just never touch the ceilings or walls (unless you feel qualified), no loud talking and careful where you step. I’ve been in a lot over 50yrs. Dont go in too far without an air monitor. That’s just MY rule of thumb. Do so always at your own risk

Yes you need a permit through BLM in your local area and you have to go buy regulations which is you have to have a settling Pond you cannot discharge directly back into the river... this video was from a while back couple years and was on a private claim however still have to follow the rules

But it is doable just have to contact BLM let them know the area that you're wanting to high bank then they're going to want to know how many gallons of water your pump will be discharging then they're going to want to know if the spot that you're trying to hide a bank is public private or an owned claim or if it's forestry property.. pretty much they will give you all the information you will need
