First of all nationality is not a race you can't be 8 or 12% Polish. It doesn't work like that. Language, culture, every day life experience form nationality. So you can feel "safe" none will treat you as a Pole (maybe only americans with their weird nationality perspective). Secondly, majority of Polish imigrants in usa are descendants of peasants or unskilled workers (biggest, first wave of immigration, almost 2 millions Poles). Most of Poles including overwhelming majority of well educted and skilled stayed in the country and fought for its freedom. So yeah, I can believe Poles could have been perceived as "stupid" or treated badly in america regarding what kind of people emigrated from Poland. Second wave of immigration (about 0,5 million people) after 2WW were not so homogeneous, soviets forced to flee many Poles especially well educated (they were a danger for soviet authorities). And finally, you've chosen literrally the WORST summary of Poland with a lot of mistakes and inaccuracies which were pointed out in comments section. I suggest to read them first (or at least at the end) before you use any youtube video to educate yourself. By the way comment about why Poland spends so much money on education??? Really? It was so arrogant. So let me answer in the same manner. Poland spends so much money for education to prevent Poles from being as ignorant as americans.
