Lochsa River 2023 High Water 15k-17k
The Lochsa River is one of the best early season runs out there with it being free flowing you never know what kind of day your going to get. This river provides massive Grand Canyon style wave trains but all in all i would say pretty low consequence considering its a roadside attraction. Here's a video from May 2023 on a surprisingly sunny weekend our crew went out for some entertaining runs. Enjoy!

Captain Ahab Trail | Moab, Utah Mountain Biking
zhlédnutí 167Před 3 lety
This is one of my favorite trails i've ridden to date, a steady uphill climb from the trailhead on Kane Springs Rd just southwest of town. Starts off on the HyMasa Trail with some slick rock and some beautiful scenery over the course of an hour you will have one of the most demanding climbs of your life but i promise it will all be worth it. Upper and Lower Captain Ahab trails are very exposed ...

From the top of Blacktail Mountain overlooking the largest freshwater lake west of the Mississippi, the views are unbeatable! This ride requires a vehicle shuttle unless you want to have one of the biggest uphill days of your life, but to make it a fun filled downhill day with minimal climbing you can park a vehicle at Herron Park near Kalispell, MT and take the bikes and another vehicle to the...
Epic MTB Riding on The Ribbon Trail | Grand Junction, Colorado

This was my first time riding the famous Ribbon Trail in Grand Junction, Colorado. This trail was unlike any other trail i've ever ridden as you descend at high speeds across huge slabs of granite then eventually end up at the top of the Lunch Loops area of GJ. Although this trail is rated as a black diamond on Trail Forks there are a few spots that are super technical that most will walk. Make...
Mount Reynolds Summit Glacier National Park

Enjoy this video of just one of many beautiful mountain summits in Glacier!! Reynolds being one of the easier more accessible summits in the park we made our approach late afternoon in July to have a wonderful sunset from the top. This was the easiest of the routes but still required some route finding skills to the summit.

The Wild Mile is a Class 5 mile long stretch in Big Fork, Montana that can be quite hazardous at high water levels as shown in this video. Just days before the Big Fork Whitewater festival fellow guides and i took a fe...

Spectacular scenery and lots of things going on - enough to speak about for a lifetime! Sideways approach to such waves is not good, nor is it ever advisable; and there's a lot of it in this video. Perhaps, the boats are too much (too big, too heavy, for arms not strong, or quick, enough) to handle?! Seeing how you jump in the water and float: do you get wet under those costumes?

I was wondering the same thing. I’ve fished the middle fork of the Flathead numerous times in the complex, but typically in late August/early Sept (right before Elk season) and the water is way lower than this. Still some good water for rafting, but more conducive to fishing. Absolutely insanely beautiful no matter when you go!
