Prune while the rose is dormant. Between November and March in the northern hemisphere.

You’re supposed to prune them after they have flowered in summer. They flower on second year growth. Pruning them in summer gives time for new shoots to grow and mature. If you prune them in winter you will get vigorous growth but no flowers that year.

@@glyngoll Can't say the same , because the MicroB had not drawbars, just presets, plus those typical like Perc+Vibratos, and so. The quality i think solid enough, can't compare. Now i have the Ferrofish B4000+ and a Mojo Desktop; other generation.

Mis KITKAT BOOM Boom - both would work fine for astrophotography, though bear in mind that the D5300 has a smaller sensor. Go full frame if you can. It’s more important to get the technique right and a solid tripod or mount.

That's why I plumped for the Sony. Still have a soft spot for Nikons though but their mirrorless adventure came too late to the party.

Alberto Rudi - totally agree with you. I was a bit lazy as I just wanted to put something out there. And didn’t get round to cutting a snappy version. Will put some effort into it next time! Not sure where I’ll go this year - looking for suggestions.

mark denham - there are no plans as far as I know of this being shown at the moment. However, S4C have announced a commitment to publish box sets of some progammes available on its Clic service - www.s4c.cymru/clic/ Y Gwyll is there at present amongst other classics, and I think they’ll have English Subtitles.

Hi GoSlowTV - glad you liked it. I shot it on my GoPro Hero 4 as a test to see if the results worked. The Sony A7S is on my wish list but I'm crossing my fingers that Nikon comes up with a 120fps solution at 1080p in the near future. Regards, Glyn
