My grandparents passed a long time ago, parents in 2020 & 2021 (60 days apart) so I can honestly say I know how it feels. I haven't live streamed a single time yet. You have a preferred window? I do have a full time job, I'm working on my MBA and have two of my (adult) children & a grandchild living with me right now, but I can usually find a few hours to play.

The downside is that it keeps popping back up in your quest log forever (well, I never kept going and counted to see where it stops, some stop around 30 repetitions)

@@lemiarty you don't have to stop, even if it pops back up.. it's just something to do that will give you some extra money, and it all depends on your morality.. because you are creating an addictive product and it could kill people.. and make them seriously addicted.. professor Drake.. haha 😂 I love it! You got to stick with that, so whenever you fill out an application you got to tell them that you're a PhD candidate 😂 most applications will ask you what your highest level of education is 😂

What I'm getting at is there's got to be a way to move supplies around a lot easier.. like setting up a cargo Link in neon.. and then just picking up some supplies and bringing it over to the vendor, or the vendor can go pick up your shipment and then you pick up the credits when the shipment is sold. Something like that.

The links in towns and outposts are for supply quests only. Say you take a quest from the mission board to supply Gagarin Landing with 1000 uranium; you set up an outpost the mines uranium with a link pad then go to Gagarin and link it. As soon as it transfers the requested amount it stops automatically and the mission completes.

There are a ton of things that could work differently but since I wasn't involved, I have no idea of the reasoning or if it just became a priority thing... Sometimes you have to launch something to keep getting funding.

Sometimes I let HH live, but not usually. You do have to be careful not to kill anyone other than Khan (and Amanerinas depending on conversation choices) otherwise she'll turn hostile

I don't usually pick up clothing except when I'm trying to make displays... Generally, only get the clothes I'm going to use...

I probably played through at least 20 times before realizing she had quests beyond the first one. One of the things I enjoy about the game is that, even after 1500+ hours of play time, I still find new things from time to time.

You have to have at least done "All that Money Can Buy" before this even unlocks, I think.

Not sure if that was meant to be sarcastic...a lot of the local only quests are super short and the rewards reflect it.

@@amitansurkar1769 Bullshit, games like Witcher 3 have not a single fetch quest, while Starfield has this same exact quest where you talk to a guy, go grab something and then return, in abundance. In fact you have this exact fetch quest with all sorts of different items: data sensors, a tree branch, a beer, an old earth jewel, some counterfeit art, some medical supplies, a research data slate, a first-edition book, a birthday present, a handwritten letter, a mysterious package for Salinas, the ominous "Heart of Mars"... All those you just gotta talk to the quest giver, fast travel where the item is, pick it up and give it back to the quest giver. So exciting. Quite a lot of 3-minute mind numbing fetch quests for a single game, wouldn't you agree? At least Skyrim would bother to put a catacomb in between you and the item you had to fetch...

Yeah, I use the piloting simulator every time I put a point in piloting and buy inexpensive parts for starship design

Most of the time I sell it to his competitor (TerraBrew), they pay slightly better, but this time I gave it to him, no particular reason. I do agree, though, arrogant condescending jerk.

Oh, and I was going to mention, one of my friends tried Kopi Luwak and said it was different but good, just not worth the price tag...and you can't think about the source.

I've found that, with the difficulty cranked up, this initial fight with a poor weapon can be challenging, to say the least. Any advantage, I'll take! I tried lining them up so that they have to exit and run into them but that didn't work out, I also tried putting the explosives in the places where I know they run right after exiting...also didn't work...so that left...yep, throwing it at them and blowing it up!

Oh, and , yes, I played Skyrim, Oblivion, Morrowind, Daggerfall, and Arena...plus all the Fallouts.

@@lemiarty I did check out your playlist, you seem pretty good at this.. yes I'm a huge fan of elder scrolls.. starfield has definitely grown on me and I've learned a lot about it, just by watching other people play.. I'm glad you're having a good time.. which playthrough would be the best one to watch?

The Professor Drake playthrough is the most organized with each video having only one quest. If you like watching long sessions (some people do), the Sarge playthrough has only 8 hour videos. The Lemiarty Restart playthrough is the one that reflects how I typically play when not making a video - skipping dialogs, running everywhere, doing things in random orders...

No, I have a dozen different characters with the most played being over level 300.

I didn't pick up any Aurora in this vid, bit it's all over the place if you're into hauling contraband.

I do the whole series on every play-through or unity pass...the side quests in NA add up to help fund much needed ship improvements early on.

If I were trying to make money off videos then I would do a better job of editing (this is completely unedited), spend time designing catchy thumbnails and making "interesting" titles to garner click throughs. Personally, I hate click-bait, so this has a character selfie as a thumbnail and a title that reflects the quest content.

Makes no sense to me either, I get a ton of recommended stuff that has me scratching my head.
