nice wins man keep killing it! Just a tip tho from one ret player to another, if want to climb higher you should use your stun 90% of the time on the healer. like every match. Go in, stun healer, and pop every offensive cd on the kill target. and just do it repeatedly. i guarantee u will prob jump up 200 cr 😁

Saw this on the discord. I do this myself and am surprised when people aren't. My build is a little different, but it's a concept really everyone should adopt.

Feel free to modify your MK18 to min-max it. If you are going to do so, heres the changes i recommend: 1. Swap the pistol grip for a "DD Grip" 2. Swap the foregrip for a "DD FG" 3. Swap the flash-hider for "KAC QD" 4. Swap the suppressor for "QDSS NT4" Alternatively, you may find an M4 with these attachments to better suit your playstyle. The M4 has worse weapon handling, but better accuracy.

Would you change out nanoweave now with the recent change? Or back when it was -20% speed? I also don't particularly get Icarus as a choice. Like, I've seen people do a lot with Ambusher, Drifter can have some utility value, like on Oshur crossing water more quickly, and my personal preference is Skirmisher. I use catlike to get enough height to jump on top of head-height very effectively, but maybe if you're really good with jumping tactics, not that I'd know what those are, and you absolutely need safeguard; I just feel like skirmisher gives more tactical options, plus some utility.

Works in any vehicle, but I find it feels a lot smoother with skirmisher jets. In general I try to strafe when I'm going for speed; not 100% on if there's an actual physics engine effect here, but it feels like you lose less speed in general (like with pad drifting too, etc.) when you strafe. I try to practice strafing with a 'swimming' exercise where I try to move in a straight line, getting a run up, jumping, and then switching between looking to the left and right, strafe-flying without landing. That really only works with skirmisher jets, though. That, along with practicing pad drifting whenever possible, certainly feels cool.

Low FOV: + Bigger targets since you effectively have a zoom; enemy heads are bigger and easier to click - Less situational awareness - Apparent recoil increased High FOV: + More situational awareness + Apparent recoil reduced - Targets are much smaller thus harder to hit the head

Oh and, if you guys want to get creative with courses, I recommend adding construction ramps and canyons into the mix.

Note that FOV does not actually change your recoil control, it changes your perception of recoil control. The mouse movements are still the same or very similar. The best way to fight recoil is to train yourself to pull downwards, or burst.
