Behind-the-Scenes: Lifeguard Certification
Operating Carolina Harbor Waterpark requires a team of lifeguards to keep each guest safe during their visit. While Carolina Harbor is undergoing pre-season preparations, guard classes are conducted off-site. During these classes, Carowinds' lifeguards are certified through Ellis and Associates' prestigious International Lifeguard Training Program.

Thunder striker was intimidator, Now it’s thunder striker, not intimidator, Been a long time gone, intimidator, Now it’s thunder striker on a moonlit night! Every train on intimidator, Runs on thunder striker, not intimidator, So if you have a credit for intimidator, It’ll be listed as thunder striker! Even old racer 75 was once rebel yell, Why they changed it, I can’t say. People just liked it better that way!
