Thanks for the hello, cheers, John’s sister 😊
Cloudy tomorrow... Good job Rog.💪
Had passenger door handle throw a wobbler and now won’t open from outside a few days ago. And on top of that today heater blower stopped working completely! Looks like your videos are coming at perfect time for me 😂
Anytime ! always up for a little "care in the community "😎
windscreen ?
Now believe it could be the seal between the pollen filter housing and the fan unit....possibly !
Looking forward to this one 👍 does it not come through the pollen filter?
Oh yes...it does and the other areas too !
squeeeek gone ?
Yup gone ! Just the irritating rattle from the exhaust heat shield to cure 🤣 but I expect to find something else to fix in there....like you do !
bummer
Zosia likes your carpet !
And why wouldn't she....it is magic after all...and I've done some right air miles on that rug I'll tell you 🤣🤣
Quality German design😂
Looks green to me !
🤣🤣 yeah it is...but I am in the habit of using a metal marker from the steel stock guys...they are always yellow easily seen, but I didn't have one kicking around..so next best thing...but green..
steel should not ever be used by anyone , including manufactures for brake pipes 😎
Absolutely 100% spot on there, with other much better materials available it only makes sense from a selling point of view plus its manufactured life span...a bit like white goods !
Where is the 109 I can’t find it none of mine say 109 !!!
Ey up...yes the 109 is located in the main fuse board under the drivers side top row !
@@rogerlockyer6715changed the 109 and it’s not fixed the fault gonna try the brake pedal sensor is there a way to see if they are blown or just buy another
I'd be looking at your ECU ! Generally if its brake light switch it wouldn't start ....
@@rogerlockyer6715 ok thank you
Salt always runs towards the gutter. More spray and rust on passenger side. Good job 👍
Last one had nowt on that side..all on the RH corner, and actually looking at this one ...the old van may have had some hidden nasties, obviously it'd had a good spray job...but when I knocked that last corner out...it was full of bog and no real signs of proper repair work !
Nice one Rog
Nice one Rog, you are getting there.
oh i can feel a rose joint moment coming !
Nope don't fucking start me off 🤣🤣
😎
i like your carpet 😎
The Dude can not operate without his rug man 🤣
I use these tools for those hose type clips, haven't failed to remove or replace a clamp on any pipe anywhere on a vehicle to date 👍
So that's where its been hiding. Will be pluging the computer in it latter. Hopefully no codes. Thank you for making the video very helpful 😊
Nice one..glad it helped
May I ask where the obd is located please
How do, yes the port is under the drivers side opposites the fuse board tucked up away but it's not hard to see ..hope this helps
@@rogerlockyer6715 Thank you 😊
Shout up if you want me to pop a short video up...might make one anyway as it's a common question!
@@rogerlockyer6715 That be a great idea. I've personally not been. Able to find one on the obd location. Or dose there seem to be any info on Google.
what are the clip part numbers?
Hi, i have one too! But i have some problem to understand how the radiator is fixed. Can u help?
Having issues with your rad fitting ? I am due very soon to refit mine...so I will knock a short vid together !
Good luck with the repair mate, going to check this prone spot for rot/scabs tomorrow see how it’s looking !
You can buy this clips from Chery Amulet. If you know about this car in your country.

What was the issue?
Nothing now...rear lock was buggered...both doors would not open...stripped and put back...all now working 👍
I brought a caddy 5 days ago, a 2003 model. I cannot work out the locking system!, after one hour yesterday, i eventually managed to unlock the rear door, which was secured right at the top,but not at the lock part as such. I filled up the van with household stuff for tip, locked van up, now i cannot remember what i done yesterday to unlock it again! . Luckily, i took out the mesh on bulkhead and left crawling space(mirrow view space) in the back, not gunna be easy, but ill manage.. just, i reckon!?.
Hi Roger, I just bought a 2001 Seat Inca, basically the same van as yours, but from another brand. I'm trying to transform mine into an MTB/mini camper van. It's great to see your videos, experiencing a similar van journey as mine. I'm slowly fixing some issues and this back door lock.... it's driving me crazy :) I've dismantled it about 20 times already and still haven't found the solution. Great to see your progress, thanks for sharing your experience. Cheers from Portugal
Well Thank you for your comments and dropping in to my page/you tube uploads ( which are slowly getting better 😅 iam no movie star ) Anyway ...its pointless doing all the nice things without dealing with the problems...so it is slow work but when its done...and done right it should go for many miles to come without causing issues...after 20 yrs or so things just wear out or break...once again thank you 👍👊✌
👍
Thanks for your support 👍👍
