Hi Mark, I'm unable to get filled for next weeks options in SPX for calendar spread...I tried to place the order at 3 pm. Is that a problem for everyone? how do you get it done? i tried 20 delta options.

I meant to check this idea when I accessed TOS today to examine my NVDA positions. A small down move would help it. BTW, I tried the wide double diagonal after the big move up. These recent moves have been quite large.

Hi. Want to remind you of two last nvda splits, the stock rallied from ATH for the next week. There is also the demand for selling options in this stock that will rocket. Why would anyone sell any stock in the best stock around.? You have to take that in to account. Also, semi, xlk and xlc where only sectors down some days now recently, that means nvda… spx was in green… 37 other sectors where in green…. So it happens. Been a lot of selling already also in nvda…

Weekend pricing of options usually way off. That 10 may expiration volatility is about the same as the 13 may expiration. This entire spread is going to "sink" as time passes and not in a good way. The peak profit potential is going to drop per day.

I opened a skewed double diagonal on friday. Bottom is save and breakeven top is 5215. My target is to close today or tomorrow when IV starts picking up

why and how did u choose the width of the fly? was it based on risk reward ratio, delta, vol etc? Also, why calls instead of put fly when as u mentioned, inflation's back? Was it due to a bet on mean reversion or that vix will come down=market up?

This is an interesting idea. I set up some paper trades today. Usually we use an OTM strike for put spreads. What is the advantage of going ITM with this one?

what is the max loss for this trade? Do you try to adjust losing trades or just close them at your max loss?

what's the max profit for this trade? $0.75 on a 5point spread?
